Materials Sound knowledge of Material planning, Stores, Excise and Dispatch functionMonthly MRPFollow-up with suppliers for frames and other parts as per requirementTracking of import and export items.Highlight the regular shortages and keep control on critical itemsMaintain minimum stock level of all critical levels.To keep regular watch on inwards against supplies.To keep supportive function for dispatch and stores departmentMaintain TS 16949 required documents.Responsible for all development functions.Excise & Dispatch Do follow up for shortages with the purchase and respective departments. Also do follow up with production for closing of work order in time.Monitor materials consumption as per BOM. Material back with necessary documents. Initiate action for reworking or purchase.Initiate action for rejection, Rework as per system.Follow up with marketing and dispatch departments for dispatch of ready materials.Review the overall status of customers requirements w.r.t. delivery date and high light critical area. Provide timely information to take decisions.Review over all plans once again if any changes in requirements in requirements or any unavoidable situation. And initiate actions accordingly.Update all the MSI date and requirements as per quality system requirements.Verify design BOM with actual BOM and feedback to all the concerns for corrective actions.To ensure effective implementation of ERP system and provide on the job training to sub ordinates.Stores Monitor maintain proper inventory level. Monitor ensure proper identification, handling and storage of material at proper place.To supervise and control scrap sale activities.To ensure proper accounting of material sent for job work.To ensure rejection are sent back in time to vendors.To monitor for various MIS of the departments.To ensure proper computer system in the departments per the standard ERP norms.To maintain the ISO 9001-2000, TS 19649 requirement as per documented procedures.To supervise rejected, return and non moving items within 15 days.To coordinate with the internal customers.To train and develop subordinates/ workforce wherever and whenever required. Follow preservation procedure for required items.To ensure 5 S implementation.AUTHORITIESTo decide for the monthly/weekly production plan based on customer requirements.To recommend for taking disciplinary action in case of misconduct. Preferable from seating background
