As a Marketing Strategy and Research analyst, you will be responsible for conducting primary and secondary research on industry trends, competitive dynamics and product related intelligence. In this role, you will gather and think critically about data and write thematic research reports, as well as interact with the companys senior management team in order to provide them with up-to-date industry, market and product intelligence. As such, a successful candidate will be regarded as Subject Matter Expert and will help shape the firm s tactical and long-term strategies.This person will be responsible for following the progress of technology companies focused on Industrial sector. In addition to excellent writing skills, financial modeling and communication skills, the ideal candidate will demonstrate high aptitude for gathering and synthesizing relevant primary market data. A successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a willingness to conduct ongoing independent market research and related industry networking. The ideal candidate will be anyone interested in industry research and/or equity research. This role will report directly to Director of Research.PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES / DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TOPrepare thought-leading, actionable written research reports, working in a collaborative structure.Develop sophisticated skill at analysis - seeking out and piecing together fragments of information, extrapolating, building and applying conceptual models, recognizing patterns and drawing conclusions from partial data.Analyze industry macro trends.Monitor and maintain models and industry databases ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information for research reports.Review business/trade publications, industry reports and other sources to gather/synthe/interpret data on markets, industries, geographies, products, etc.Assist in the promotion of Flex research within the organization.Create, prepare and format reports.Attend industry conferences.Provide analytical support by maintaining and updating models on industries, markets, geographies, products, etc.Researching and updating high-quality industry reports on deadline and in accordance with in-house editorial standards.Analyzing macroeconomic, demographic and industry-specific financial data to identify and clearly communicate key business trends.Experience in writing business research articles or reports for a business and technical audiences would be helpful.Make forecasts and projections based on existing industry data.Developing further research and analysis based off of corporate mandates and management theses.Ability to synthe business implications with a grasp of market dynamics.
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
