Develop and drive a high-level QA strategy, as well as take a hands-on approach to implementing that strategy.Lead a team working on our software models across our products.Perform advanced statistical and mathematical insurance analytics tasks to validate model outputs. Knowledge and SkillsMin 8 Years experience & above from computational analytics company.Demonstrated leadership capabilityInternal and external client-focused attitude with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Attention to detail and accuracy.Capable of reasoning and thinking through problems and be able to independently and jointly develop desired solutions.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.Aptitude for learning, understanding, and applying conceptsAdvanced proficiency with either statistical, mathematical software packages; or generally with analytical software.Experience with validating numerical probabilistic models in engineering, sciences an added plus.Programming skills to include numerical, scientific and databases programming.Attention to detail and experience working in distributed and global teams with diverse cultural backgrounds.Superior verbal and written communication skills, in order to interface with cross-functional teams that are talented, culturally diverse, global and widely varying technical skillsets. Ensure that products meet requirements for accuracy and explicit and or implicit validation of scientific/ financial algorithms.Lead efforts to develop, document, and implement applicable QA processes and procedures to provide more effective quality methods within the group in support of providing quality products.Create, implement, maintain, and enhance test plans and test methodologies that ensure exhaustive testing of all assigned software model systems to ensure compliance with software models specifications.Gather requirements, Resource planning, Risk identification and mitigation etc.Collaborate with developers to improve overall product quality by emphasizing defect prevention throughout the development process.Identify areas for test improvement through analysis, experience and use of metrics.Communicate critical issues and status updates in a timely manner.Educate and train peers and subordinates on the QA process and provide guidance to them when they are unclear about the process.Provide coaching and guidance to the Quality Assurance Team on best practices .Plan, organize, and monitor the execution of the work assignments for the Quality Assurance Team.Ensure that the project schedule is adhered to and the work is completed according to the schedule.Conduct Gap analysis and Resolution for Test Coverage and Test efficiency based on feedback.Addressing queries from Product Management and Client Servicing teams w.r.t software model outputs.
