Direct and Control the day to day flight operations of entire QJ flights, both, Scheduled and non-schedule, to domestic as well to international airports to ensure smooth and ON-TIME- OPERATIONS.Carry out the duties and responsibilities as under and also as may be specified by the Company from time to time.The role of the Manager OCC is very significant towards the smooth dynamic working of the Operational Control Centre, which in itself is the key to efficiency and ON-TIME-PERFORMANCE of all flights.Quality, Safety, Efficiency and Integrity and the customer as the prime focus are to be the core of all actions and Motto of Quikjet employee.The duties and responsibilities enumerated hereunder are not exclusive to other duties /responsibilities detailed in the Ops Manual, OCC Manual etc or as may be specified by the Company /DGCA from time to time or as is detailed in the individual appointment letter/contract.Each and every Quikjet employee is to be cost-conscious and need to align their efforts towards ensuring that cost are kept to a minimum, commensurate with their position/job-function but without compromising the fundamental objectives as outlined in Para 2 above.Control & AdministrationHe is directly responsible for compliance of the OCC Manual by the all Quikjet departments involved in day to day operations.He is responsible for preparation, revision, distribution and control of the OCC Manual.Controlling Quikjet flights in cost efficient manner.Disruption/delay (from on time schedule) management and communicating action plan to all concerned to restore the operations to normal ASAP. Resolve issues affecting smooth /on time operations and in case of any abnormality or issue requiring intervention at higher level, bring it to the notice of the concerned Head of Department.Ensure that the OCC staff are apprised and sensitised on confidentiality of information. And ensure that the operational information is not leaked to/shared with persons not connected with the information; both within Quikjet and External agencies/persons.Dispatch offices in the Quikjet network- He is to exercise control of the Dispatch Offices in the Quikjet network and ensure that the dispatch offices functions in accordance with current policies and regulations.Fleet Control the fleet and ensuring OTP alongside safety while ensuring connectivity over the entire schedule network. Ensure maximum utilisation of a/c and protect the schedule in conjunction with Operations Planning.Flight OperationsEnsure that the Company flights are safely and efficiently planned, cleared, and monitored in accordance with established policy & standards and the mandatory regulations.Protect the schedule/revenue in case of disruption/likely disruption, in conjunction with Operations Planning and other departments.Manage disruption with least cost /loss including swapping of flights if necessitated. This must be coordinated with all connected departments including commercial. And to ensure that proactive measures are taken to minimize its effects, in coordination with i/c crew Roster, ground operations and Engineering etc.Ensure regulatory and Quikjet policy compliances as detailed in OCC Manual in so far as day to day operations of QJ flights are adhered to.On Time Performance (OTP) & Delay Reports- Ensure implementation of processes and procedures by the OCC duty personnel to closely monitor the Departure/Arrivals for OTP and take timely action/steps for minimizing/avoidance of the likely delays by coordinating intervention at/by appropriate level.Analyse reasons for delays and forward daily report with recommendations to Head of Flight Operations/GM Ops Operations and other concerned departments.Analyse reasons for delays and forward daily report with recommendations to Head of Flight Operations/GM Ops Operations and other concerned departments.Coordination with Departments Work in conjunction with all concerned departments to ensure efficient service to our customers. Establish standard protocols/checklists, in coordination with all departments involved in flight operations.Establish escalation matrix be followed by staff on duty to ensure resolution of any intra-department issue/s, which is or likely to impact OTP etc.He is to bring to the notice of respective Head of Departments variation and/or slack which is directly affecting the OTP etc.Liaise with external agencies which may affect Operations. These would include, but not be restricted to, the following-Arrangement for Pre-Flight medical of the operating crew.Payment of Airport fee & Charges, as applicable and periodic reconciliation of the charges.Coordination for permission and clearances for operations from airports Coordination with international airports for operations.Extension of watch hours.TrainingEnsure that all OCC personnel are provided with regular and periodic adequate training & familiarisation in all areas of operations, in order to efficiently function as the OCC executive.Conduct periodically checks for the OCC personnel, in a formal manner for their knowledge and execution of their duties.Budget & Optimisation Prepare the operating and capital expenditure budgets pertaining to OCC. Protect revenue in consultation with the Commercial & Finance Department prior to taking any decisions on cancelling sectors necessitated due to technical problems, weather, watch hours etc.ERPEstablish protocol/s to be actioned by the OCC on duty staff in case of specified accidents/Incidents as per the ERP manual.Audits - Carryout monthly and quarterly audit of all aspects of OCC and forward the report to all Head Flight Ops and to all connected departments.
