Job DescriptionResponsibilities Responsible for the following in business units - Work as a process owner for - Making changes in organization structure, designing new organisation structure, rightsizing existing organization with an objective to improve employee productivity and reduce wage cost - Formulating Incentive Bonus Schemes and their administration to improve employee morale - Accountable for maintaining parity in designation, grade/ level, span of control - Examine Union grievances wrt grade, number and IB to maintain Industrial Relations - Participate in the Union negotiation meetings on manpower and IB revision proposal to ensure parity in extending benefits - Participate in improving existing work practices - Help in formulating guidelines related to organization design, incentive bonus schemes, outsourcing philosophy, etc. - Study process improvement / cost optimisation / Layout & Logistics areas using various IE tools to eliminate waste and improve productivity of man-machine system - Assess the requirement of fleet of mobile equipment - Study capital investment proposals to improve capital productivity - Study of service contract proposals to reduce contract labour and contract cost - Work as a member of various committees like MEVRC, Capital Scheme Review Committee, etc. - Provide consultancy support to JUSCO, TCIL and other TIS group of Companies as and when requested Note Primary Skills Survey Methodologies, Manpower planning Secondary Skills Education B.Tech/B.E. Branches Production/Industrial Experience 3.00 To 4.00 Years Requirements END RESULTS KEY ACTIVITIES Bring improvement in Human Resource productivity Formulate Organization design proposals (Officers and Non Officers), syndicate with the customer dept. and put up to approving authority Use industrial engineering principles like method study, work simplification during study, and make recommendations to eliminate Work on Zero Base Manning Study. Manpower Planning & Forecasting. Monitor & prepare report on Employee Productivity on monthly basis Improvement in Job Enrichment & motivation of Human Resources Identify opportunities for Job Enrichment Develop/ modify the incentive bonus plans while maintaining parity across the organisation. To monitor the monthly operational & quality parameters of operating unit and verify the correctness of IB advice Analyse the data and facts related to any grievance received due to difference in impact level/ grade or IB point etc. Improvement in work process/system to improve productivity Process re-engineering, Method Study & Work Simplification to eliminate non value adding activities Study and benchmark similar functions /structures in comparable industries on an on-going basis Logistics & Layout improvement study Simulation Study to model real world situation
