KEY RESPONSIBILITIESPlay a key role in calculation of Asset shares and Best estimate liabilities for regular actuarial reporting. Assist in further refinement, where needed, in the Asset share and bonus determination methodology.Performing the bonus supportability and the associated analysis e.g. smoothing of bonuses, cross-subsidy and assist the supervisor in preparing recommendation for the regular and terminal bonus rates.Assist in ad-hoc type analysis related to participating business e.g. benefits payable on RPUs, Surrender, impact of increasing equity, management of Estate, Calculation of policyholder IRRs etc. This will also include requests for analysis from other teams, Operations team in particular.Responsibility to assess and prepare responses for the queries received from the IRDA related to participating business e.g. declared bonus rates.Play a key role in all the aspects of PROPHET modeling. This will include the merging of PROPHET workspace for new products, other changes and refinements to existing models e.g. RPU modeling, updates from Prophet Releases. There will be a large number of interactions with other team members to understand their model requirements.Knowledge and skills required Ability to perform a result oriented, technical analysis and ability to perform under pressure of deadlines, as and when required.Strong communication skills clear articulation of key messages arising for a technical work for the reviewer and senior management.Ability to work in a team as well as independently as and when requiredIn-depth knowledge of working with actuarial software preferably PROPHET.High levels of proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Powerpoint
Degree: M.Com. (Commerce) | M.Pharm. (Pharmacy) | M.Sc. (Science) | MA (Arts) | MBA/ PGDM | MCA/ PGDCA
