The Team Lead or Manager, Information Systems will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Global Services team in India. This includes the tracking of tasks assigned to the GS India team, communication with stakeholders, project management, quality assurance, and effective operation of defined controls. The Mgr IS will work closely work with the IS teams across different geographies, will ensure seamless, efficient and consistent service delivery.Duties and responsibilities Work with Global Services Director to oversee the IS team s tasks in India Assist in developing and maintaining knowledge base articles, procedures and other relevant documentation Coordinate with IS teams in various locations and ensuring clear exchange of information Provide management and direction to the IS team in India to ensure successful delivery Develop metrics to monitor and track teams activities Assist in performing SOX Controls/ ITGC procedures and maintaining adequate control documentation Collaborate with F&A and other business users/departments in improving IS service delivery Manage relationship with all internal stakeholders Assist in recruitment, training and professional development of the IS team members Present recommendations, options, opportunities, and assumptions to leadership Other duties as requiredQualificationsEDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Engineering/ Master of Computer Applications/ M.Sc. Computer Science / MBA Systems or related field and/or equivalent education and work experience required 8 - 12 years of experience working in Application Support, Access Administration, L1/L2/L3 support/helpdesk Experience on Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx)/ ITGC/ Internal Controls Hands-on experience/intermediate knowledge in SQL/PHP is required Understanding of/experience with applications like Salesforce, JIRA, Concur, Navision is preferable.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ATTRIBUTES Ability to work effectively and efficiently toward goals in a complex, diverse environment Self-directed and able to own and deliver on team objectives Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance multiple priorities and projects, and work well under pressure Demonstrated creative thinking and problem solving ability Ability to effectively influence at all levels and with all resource types (employees, consultants, contractors, internal customers) Strong oral and written communication skills Strong facilitation and organization skills, including high attention to detailWorking conditions3-4 Application Support/System Analysts Key Skills1. The candidate should be from Application support background.2. Should have headed a team before.3. Should be able to join in a month or lesser.4. Excellent communication skills.5. Our applications are Salesforce, JIRA, Concur and Navision. We have a team that hands application support for this. This person needs to handle the team.
