Country Prioritization Identifying new business opportunities for global clients in various countries based on factors such as macro-economic scenarios, industry trends, demand projection, PESTEL analysis, etc. Building sensitivity model and prioritize countries. h Market Assessment and Feasibility Current Market sizing using mathematical modeling, growth projections, vertical trend analysis current business/ situational analysis and competition performance to present accurate / clear picture of the business environment. h Distribution / Supply Chain Assessment Evaluate existing distribution model, geography-wise trend analysis, benchmarking best market practices h Competitive Landscape Assessment Conduct deep-dive Macro-economic and Leading indicator analysis, Vertical Market Studies, Competitive Intelligence reports and thereby analyze long-term trends, and evaluate competitive landscape Prepare positioning strategy h Sales Force Optimization Evaluating current performance, benchmarking with industry practices, evaluating competitors sales strategies, sales force strength and effectiveness, training need assessment, develop optimization strategies h Account / Vendor Planning / Prioritization Business area / segment prioritization, geographic prioritization h Strategy Planning & Consulting Develop strategic business plan for global operations, identifying new growth and/or market opportunities, and execution strategies. Design and execute high quality end-to-end research /consultancy projects of various types like Go to market /Understand client requirements & prepare proposals and commercial bids - Problem identification, Research, Document review, Synthesis, Recommendation & program formulation. h Designing or assisting in the development of primary research methodology via questionnaires / moderator guides, etc. to ensure that necessary data is captured. Conduct focused group interview discussion with stakeholders for data gathering. h Perform data analytics, identify trends, generate insights and gather market information for assisting senior management in decision making. h Write in-depth research and analytical reports, white papers of high quality on different sectors / companies h Effectively engage client counterpart in discussions related to the tasks / project delivery and provide new perspectives / insights. h Participate in preparation of points of view / intellectual property for the Market Research Consulting practice across domains and industrial sectors. Senior Research Analysts will have added responsibilities of project planning for oneself and reporting team members where relevant, team leading/management, monitor progress of work against the engagement plan, maintain documentation as per required KPM ASSET quality standard and prepare the required deliverables in the format agreed with the engagement manager and client. 2-8 years experience in Business Research / Market Research. h Qualification Graduate in any discipline with post graduation qualification such as MBA/CA/CS/CFA/PMI will have an advantage. h Experience managing more than one project simultaneously. h Independently executed/supervised at least 4 consulting assignments. h Voracious reader of market reports, tech & industry blogs. h Ability to work under pressure V stringent deadlines and tough client conditions which may demand extended working hours h Experience in handling assignments in at least 3 to 4 industry segments. h Excellent research, analytical, presentation, numerical and problem solving skills. h Ability to develop and articulate strategic recommendations based on rigorous data analysis. h Ability to partner with BD teams to understand client problems and marketing strategies; should have Business Development acumen and ability to identify Business Development opportunities. h Ability to develop and articulate strategic recommendations based on rigorous data analysis. h Extremely detail-oriented with high standards for written and visual presentation of information as well as idea. h Ability to create and manage the project schedule while providing updates and mitigating issues that be identified. h Highly responsive to customer requests; able to prioritize conflicting needs. h Extensive knowledge of working on databases such as Thomson Reuters, Factiva, Hoovers, Frost & Sullivan, etc h Self-driven with a high level of motivation and energy; a strong can-do attitude; ability and willingness to work in a small and fast growing set-up. h Excellent written and verbal communication skills. h Willingness to travel within India or abroad for continuous long periods of time. h Must be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision and have a strong commitment to continuous quality improvement
