Job profile Under general supervision, the incumbent is responsible for transcription of patient medical information and other assigned typing duties using transcribing and word processing equipment. Duties include * Typing and proofing histories, physicals, consults, slides, operatives, test results or other medical information from physicians; * Maintaining records of incoming and completed transcriptions; * Assuring chronological typing order and\\or urgency of assigned work; * Typing of letters, other correspondence and special reports as requested; * Verifying the accuracy of patient information on file; * Answering the telephone and responding to enquiries on routine information in accordance with established procedures; * Duplicating documents and other forms as requested; * Maintaining patient confidentiality; and, * Performing other related duties within the clinic as assigned. REQUIRED CANDIDATE- Candidates must be well versed in Communication and US,UK Accents also Knows Medical Terminology words. 1. The candidate should be graduate from English medium college. 2. They must know UK & US Accents also Medical Terminologies. 3. They must have Experience in Psychiatric Files. 4. For MT's - Experience to work should be MORE THAN 3 years. 5. For editors - Experience to work should be more than 5 years. 6. Should take orientation in office if the candidate resides in Chennai. 7. Whenever meeting is scheduled to come to office. 8. Ready to work on Sundays and Take Week off on Other Days Compensation - The Salary will be as per competency of the candidate. The salary will consist of two components-one is a fixed amount and the second is a variable amount. The fixed amount is for a certain target to be achieved and the variable amount refers to the incentives that can be earned over and above the salary. Performance requirements * Knowledge of business office procedures. * Knowledge of medical records procedures. * Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomyy and physiology. * Skill in computer applications. * Skill in English grammar and spelling. * Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. * Ability to work effectively with others. * Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
