This role supervises a team to proactively monitor and manage IT applications and infrastructure to ensure on demand availability, capacity management and outstanding performance.Key Responsibilities Design, deploy & manage IT operation systems to provide real time information, optimization and resiliency of our software and applications infrastructure Develop and deploy virtual monitoring dashboards for IT and stakeholder visibility into the IT services we provide Establish migration plan for end-to-end monitoring of global IT assets and execute Develop supplier engagement strategy and manage performance through SLAs Build proactive monitoring capability to detect and correct events before they occur Establish analytical processes on event correlation, driving continuous improvement Define, document, and improve enterprise monitoring and maintenance processes Balances and integrates hardware and software strategy, architecture and execution Ensure decisions (resourcing & investment) based on core vs. noncore technology/functional strategies for enterprise wide impact and life cycle cost optimization Designs and deploys cross-functional Service Management tools, processes and procedures including, change management, configuration management and incident management. Leverage data to assure expected outcomes of performance that minimizes dependence on people in the process Utilize monitoring data to broaden capabilities and standardize process in the availability and capacity management areas Share insight to facilitate Governance improvements and inquiry responses where possible Ensure monitoring expectations are IT or supplier agnostic, incorporate all known data sources for consistency in approach to functionality and business value Automated end to end surveillance of Honeywells IT environment Shift from reactive to proactive to predictive Define and integrate predictive data driven tools Onboard new applications into the CT Digital Operations service. Assist the Incident Management Supervisor to provide 24X7 support for Major Incidents Strong experience with monitoring , operations centers Experience in both applications and infrastructure design and delivery Strong technical capabilities in contemporary software driven hardware and software as services Experience implementing and using VMWare VC Operations Futuristic-orientation, contemporary business thinker and high energy and proactive leader Strategic Planning Ability to define the problem/issue, root cause analysis, charter and resource corrective and preventive problem solving teams to create highly robust solutions which run 24 7 with 0 down time. Focus on value through the right level of standardization Excellent Negotiation Skills Ability to understand customer needs, negotiate complex issues and total value offerings to internal customers of IT. Set high expectations and manage to expectations to operate seamless and evolving solutions. Manage multiple vendors with excellent partnership orientation and long term enterprise strategy in mind Strong operation management experience including understanding of critical incident resolution, rapid problem solving and critical and strategic thinking to take the best course of action for the enterprise ( ability to manage crisis)QualificationsBachelors/Master s degree in related technology/business areas or equivalent work experience.Overall 8+ years of experienceAbility to Operate effectively in global networks and across all ACS Functions, SBUs and Enterprise IT organization
