Product Control IT develops applications and provides IT support to the banks Product Control function. PC is a global function, covering multiple sites across all business lines. The main functional areas covered are P&L and balance sheet reporting to Product Control and Finance. IPV (Independent Price Verification) MI reporting to senior management. Adjustment and Provisioning functionality. Trading book static and hierarchy maintenance. Product Control IT is composed of 300+ staff spread over three continents (Europe, Asia and US).Main Duties and Responsibilities Work with the Business users for requirement capture, and analysis. Translate this into actionable items by partnering with the Tech Lead and Dev Lead. Be able to drive the project work by laying out plans, partnering with Business users for adoption. Engage with users for test case creation, and also during SIT and UAT phases during the release cycles. Provide knowledge transfer and mentor junior members of the team. Own and drive the MOTIF book of work projects, work closely with Tech Manager and other BA teams to prioritize and deliver to the various business teams. (Product Owner) Perform detailed analysis on functional requirements and liaise closely with the Business user groups. Writing functional design documents adhering to predefined standards Requirements experience in similar roles, driving the business requirements and UAT phases for enterprise scale projects. Excellent skills with collaboration tools MS-OFFICE, JIRA/Confluence, Wiki. Also desired are basic database skills, PL-SQL, Test case creation, Quality Center and automation techniques. Ability to function effectively within complex structures (multi-disciplined workforce; global stakeholders; intra-group service arrangements; highly matrix environment) Strong communications skills and good presentation skills (Fluency in English, written and verbal); Strong Team player able to manage their own workload and good reporting to Senior Management. Strong leadership and organisation skills with proven ability to be able to manage other peoples workload and ensure all deliverables as a group are met. Be able to work with Key Business Stakeholders / Project Delivery Teams to establish timelines/delivery requirements to deliver solutions. Self-Starter and well-motivated to deliver in a Highly Pressurised Support Environment. Good understanding of version control tools and concepts of code base lining or work package Development experience within the financial services industry and delivering large scale enterprise systems. Worked in the IB domain, having functional knowledge of the Middle/Back Office, especially around large scale trade processing, PnL calculations, and data exchange across downstream systems.
