Achieve volume and revenue goals at each of the Company owned and franchised outletsManage the sales performance on monthly basis by field visits to outlets on regular basisMaximize long term revenue streams while developing, implementing and managing an ongoing book of business to achieve aggressive monthly sales goals.Propose and achieve goals, sales strategies and customer plans for the countryImplement brand strategies, achieve qualitative and quantitative objectives set by marketing, report on opportunities, obstacles.Train outlet sales teams on merchandising, sales skills, explain the companys sales principles and commercial policy, communicate new products, new projects, promo etc.Manage the day to day operations of the outlets including, coaching, goal setting, support and development of staff.Customer and OperationsEnsure positive customer experience being delivered by all stores. Achieve customer satisfaction through development of a customer service oriented culture in the stores.Strengthen brand identity through focused customer engagement and superior brand experience.Drive Loyalty Program at the Stores to increase repeat businessDeliver a World Class Shopping Experience basis feedback of Mystery Shopping Audits.Respond to and resolve escalated customer complaints in a timely manner.Market & CompetitionIdentify market share in the area and study competitionVisit competition stores for understanding market trends & competition product range.Prospective sites and new site identificationIdentify internal and external commercial opportunities as and when they arisePromote awareness of local trading patterns, environment, competitor activitiesPlanning, Research and StrategyConduct effective and accurate market research and apply this information to increase market shareDevelop new sales strategies and techniques for business growth and profitability.Understand customer needs and suggest changes in products to meet these needs.Identify potential markets and ensure that strong relationships with existing customers are maintainedProvide excellent services and ensure customer satisfaction to build business.Identify strategies and opportunities to increase revenue.Monitor and analyze marketing and sales reportsEvaluate current sales processes and recommend improvements.Maintain quality of service by establishing and enforcing organization standardsDeploy the Sales resources to ensure best ROI.Store Operations Standards and ManagementMaintain the best retail standards as per the market positioning of the brandEstablishSOP for Customer Service, VM, Store Ambience, Hygiene & Cash CollectionExecution ofSOPs for new and existing storesInvolve right functional resource for specific activitiesMonitor and effectively deploy staffing levels across the stores and make a bench planIdentify seasonal promos, implement marketing promotions as per guidelines, maximize returns from promotionsProvide inputs to the marketing team on the marketing calendar for the quarterPlan and organize for merchandiseAnalyze secondary sales and stock in hand on weekly basis and plan for replenishments.Perpetual inventory and global stock count to control shrinkagesPrepare for new store launches in advanceExecute new store openings as per the calendarMonitor store administration through regular meetings and store visitsResponsible for conserving and protecting assets by managing assets judiciously for higher asset turnover regular stock take of assets.Team Management, Recruitment & TrainingPlan and assign goals and tasks to the outlet sales teams.Train, motivate and guide the outlet sales teams.Evaluate performance of sales team and provide appropriate feedback.Conduct recruitment drives & participate in selection decisions of new employeesNew staff induction and developmentIdentify training needs and define a training calendar for stores staff at all levels.Regular ongoing training of new and existing front end staff on product knowledge & soft skills to deliver monthly and season targets.To participate and provide support for any Teamwork activities.Desired Candidate ProfileMBAwith 8 to 12 years experience in handling Sales & Retail operations of a reputed Brand or Brands at the Regional / Pan India level, encompassing multiple stores.Minimum of 6 years of experience in in Multi Location Retail Operations, in Apparel or Fashion IndustryStrong computer skills with proficiency in MS OfficeExperience selling through Company Owned Outlets and Franchise Stores and managing a team of over 200 store employeesA pleasant disposition, excellent written and spoken communication skills and high enthusiasm levels are important job attributes for this positionExcellent motivation and presentation skillsSuperior aptitude for analysisExcellent leadership abilities and Team-playerCan work with all levels of the organization.Willing to travel extensively to all store locations nationally
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
