Description of RoleApplies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in Cross-Functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.Qualifications/ExperienceBachelor in Degree especially in Computer Science (e.g. BE, B.Tech, MCA).Total 10+ years of working experience in Networking Technologies.MUST have 5+ Years of experience with Networking Security technologies - Checkpoint Versions (IPSO,SPLAT,GAIA), Cisco ASA, Juniper ( SSL VPN )Must have 3+ Years of experience with Switching & Routing protocolsCertificationMandatory CCNP, CCNP & ITIL FoundationDesired F5 certification/ WAN350Knowledge and SkillsDemonstrate excellent knowledge with CheckpointUpgrades from one version to another versionIn depth Knowledge on Clustering and troubleshootingConfiguring, managing and troubleshooting of site to site tunnels, remote access (SSL, Pulse), AnyconnectKnowledge on Mailflows, Webflow and packet capturesDemonstrate experience in troubleshooting WAN, Wireless implementation & performance related issues related to Cisco WAN, Riverbed WAN optimizer, Cisco WAPWLC Wireless, F5 Load balancer, Proxy Bluecoat.Experience in Wired Routing and switching is preferred.Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.Evaluating forms and processes for software applications testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for handling Incident ManagementEnsure resolution of most of the incidents and service requestsEnsure resolution or recovery of service ASAP after implementation of solution / workaround for cases.Provide inputs to Deep Technical support team for problem management and resolution of major or elevated incidentsProvide required updates to stakeholders involved in case of critical incidents like outages24/7 operational environmentPrepare Incident reports for all the business critical incidents and unscheduled server downtimeParticipate in Change and Release managementImplement routine and normal changesParticipate in CAB as and when required or the situation demandsQuality AssuranceEnsure ITSM compliance for all incidents and service callsEnsure SLA compliance for all incidents and service callsEnsure usage of documents from the KB for proper resolution of incidents and service callsActive participation in audits and facilitating the sameCommunication and NotificationAdherence to the documented notification and escalation processCommunication to the customer both while responding to a case and also after resolution of the caseHandle vendor coordination and further coordinate with them on technical groundsCoordination and communication with other incident management groupsReviewsParticipate in regular reviews with the Delivery LeadsParticipate in team meetingsParticipate in Service Delivery reviewsReporting & DocumentationProvide clear and unambiguous communication forums and channels across all shifts and staff to ensure all subject matter is relayed in a timely manner and when required that it is acted upon conscientiously and in the framework expected.Update daily reports and checklists as definedContribute towards preparation of Service Delivery ReviewsEnsure complete documentation of all activities undertaken with respect to the ticket in the case log of the service/Incident management toolHelp in preparing process and ITIL documents needed for the deliveryImpact/ScopeCollaborates with peers, junior engineers, technicians and external design partners.Typically interacts with high- level Individual Contributors, Managers, Directors and Program Core Teams.Leads multiple projects requiring software applications development.Drives design innovation.Hewlett Packard Enterprise ValuesPartnership first We believe in the power of collaboration - building long term relationships with our customers, our partners and each otherBias for action We never sit still - we take advantage of every opportunityInnovators at heart We are driven to innovate - creating both practical and breakthrough advancementsWhat do we offer?Extensive social benefits, flexible working hours, a competitive salary and shared values, make Hewlett Packard Enterprise one of the world s most attractive employers.
