This NMS Customer Support Engineer (CSE) position has the followingresponsibilities This CSE role supports reactive case handling for Cisco's largest SP and Enterprise customers on NMS related topics.-- Provides consultation and independently solve complex product andNMS/network problems.--Effectively utilizes complex lab setups to duplicate and solve problems.--Provides systems/product training internally and externally-- Submits complete and correct defect reports in area of expertise.--Provides support on a worldwide basis.--Acts as a focal point for large account network problem resolution. --Acts as a technical expert for Enterprise and Service Provider Data CenterNetworking solutions. --Typically reports to Manager, Technical Support.--Typically interfaces with end-users & internal engineeringdepartments. --Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis requires evaluation ofidentifiable factors.Required Skills4+ years IP Networking experience; Working knowledge of Networking industry, products and protocolsSound Knowledge and working experience on Routing/Switching ,SNMP, IPSLA,CiscoWorks LMS, MRTG Administration & Troubleshooting of Solaris / Linux / Windows ServersStrong documentation skills--to be utilized for case management, knowledgecapture, defect management and training.Excellent verbal communication skills--these skills are essential for this role as part of the work being done is through the phone.Very strong problem solving skillsStrong understanding of TCP/IP and NMS related knowledgeAbility to drive recreates remotely--many issues result in the engineer needingto perform a recreate of the customer problem in order to isolate the issue and resolve.CCIE or other top level industry certification (MCSE, SUN, Linux, VMware) ishighly desirable.
Degree: M.Com. (Commerce) | M.Pharm. (Pharmacy) | M.Sc. (Science) | MA (Arts) | MBA/ PGDM | MCA/ PGDCA

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering)
