Monitoring and Reporting - L1 Support2.Provide timely response to all incidents, outages and performance alerts. Categorize issues for escalation to appropriate technical teams3.Recognize, identify and prioritize incidents in accordance with customer business requirements, organizational policies and operational impact4.Maintain service level agreements by maintaining NOC escalation time lines and continuous re-assessment of open issues.5.Collect and review performance reports for various systems, and report trends in hardware and application performance to assist senior technical personnel to predict future issues or outages6.Monitor a wide variety of information and network systems that include, but are not limited to telecommunications circuits, LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP systems, servers, storage, backup, operating systems and core applications7.Document all actions in accordance with standard company policies and procedures8.Notify customer and third-party service providers of issues, outages and remediation status9.Work with internal and external technical and service teams to create and/or update knowledge base articles10.Perform basic systems testing and operational tasks (installation of patches, network connectivity testing, script execution, etc.)11.Support multiple technical teams in 24 x 7 environment operational environments with high uptime requirements. Varied shift schedules may include day or evening hours.12.Other duties as assigned Good General Server/Network Administration Concepts13.Prepare the DocumentationWindows Servers L1-L21.Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 20122.Active Directory knowledge3.Contact vendors in case of system failures 4.Maintain runbooks and wiki databases with latest client information5.Troubleshoot server and network issues, make sure all services are operational and error free 6.Upgrade server hardware and software7.Perform project tasks such as racking and stacking hardware, patching of network devices to CPUs 8.Maintain and administer clients phone system9.Insure replication of systems are operating properly 10.Maintain and operate clients videoconferencing systems11.Recommend system improvements and work with engineering, operations and client services teams to implement improvementsQualifications-1.Candidates must interface well with customers, have initiative, and be able to plan and execute projects both individually and as a team member. 2.Applied understanding of LAN/WAN infrastructures, including voice and high speed data infrastructure components.3.Candidate must be a self-motivated team player, able to set priorities and manage to deadlines.4.Candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. 5.Candidates must be able to work in a break fix environment with a very high attention to detail.6.Candidates must be very knowledgeable of Level 1/2 (Server/Desktop Technology) o Hardware (replace HD, rebuild A PC from scratch, recover data off drives, replace and service all components inside a PC, PDAs (Blackberry, iPhone, iPad)o Software (Office 2010 +, Shares, DNS, DHCP, Antivirus, VPN, and network Printing) Candidates must have acceptable knowledgeable of Level 2 (Infrastructure Technology)o Hardware (HP and Dell Servers, RAID, SCSI, replace any component of the server that is broken, configure remote access) o Software (Active directory, DNS, DHCP, RAS, FSMO, DFS, Backup technology, Server Troubleshooting and Correction, Exchange/BES Management.)Candidate must have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, and strong references Graduate Degree Preferred
Degree: ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)
