EssentialFunction of the NOCThe CtrlS NOC - Network Operations Centerteam is the 1st point of contact for all customers & is primarily responsible for monitoring and managing the resolution of complex system and network impairments/outages. NOC team operates 24x7x365 (Including Weekends/Festive Holidays/National Holidays) and is responsible for triaging all Network & Security / System / Storage / Application / Database related issues from customers. NOC interoperates with various COEs/Departments/Support Teams for escalation and dissemination of information to customers.Job Description/Key ResponsibilitiesThis position will carry out responsibilities as that of NOC Engineers, however is required to carry out some high end responsibilities as and when assigned by management.Should be acting as buddy with newly hired NOC Engineers.The candidate is required to work on customer calls/emails/tickets/chats and thus have multitasking & time management skills.Should be ready to work in (24/7/365) environment and rotating shifts.Should be able to work under pressure.Should have 1st level NOC/Service Desk/Technical Support experience for basic trouble shooting skills using documented procedures and available tools.Should have the ability to educate, pacify customers and follow up on issues to keep the customer informed.Should be able to set expectations correctly of customers.Should be open minded and ready to learn and absorb new skillsShould participate in process improvement & various report generation initiatives.Should have excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel & be a team player.Should have the basic know how of Technologies (Servers/Networks/IT Security/Storage/Virtualization/Cloud/Applications/Databases)Should have the ability to assess customer's technical requirement & resolve or escalate, when needed.Should Support other team members on difficult issues.Should have good communication skills, analytical/problem solving skills & excellent customer interfacing skills & thus achieve customer delight.Should be able to generate reports in excelNetworking CCNA /CompTIA Network+ Systems (Servers) MCSE / MCITP/MCP/RHCE /VCP/CCA Storage CompTIA Storage+ (SNIA Storage Networking Industry Association) or Any Vendor based.
Degree: M.Com. (Commerce) | M.Pharm. (Pharmacy) | M.Sc. (Science) | MA (Arts) | MBA/ PGDM | MCA/ PGDCA

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering) | B.Sc. (Science) | BCA (Computer Application)
