Virtualization2-3 years of relevant experience VMware 3.X & 4 Virtualization Technology.Implementing & Administration of VMware environments with VMware Infrastructure 3.5 / vSphere 4.x/5.x, Virtual Center 2.5 / vCenter Server 4, and VDI. P2V, V2V and P2P migrations using VMware Converter.Good knowledge of VMware products vCloud Director, VMware Infrastructure 3.5 / vSphere 4 & 5, Virtual Center and VDI.P2V, V2V and P2P migrations using VMware Converter Suite.Responsible for all day-to-day management of the VMs including installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, patching, backup and recovery.Troubleshooting ESX host with RCLI.VCB and VMware Data Recovery knowledge will be an additional plusExcellent written and communication skillsWillingness to assist others and learn new skillsExcellent customer service skillsWillingness to travel on company business as appropriate Able to work independently and as part of a teamAble to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externallyResilient to cope with conflicting demands and tight deadlines, able to prioritize duties and Work under pressure while remaining calm and professional at all times Ability to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential informationAbility to manage and prioritize tasks and time effectivelyAble to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasksExcellent organizational skillsShould be ready to work in 24*7 & US ShiftsJob DescriptionMaintenance and support of Windows server environment in the DatacenterManagement and administration of Active Directory and domain controllersMaintenance and support of VMware InfrastructureManagement, administration and support of Microsoft ExchangePlanning and implementation of disaster recovery services for key systemsMaintain and monitor systems to ensure high availability to the businessMaintain IT procedures and documentationProvide support for all technologies managed by the teamMonitor and respond to incidents and requests in the workflow management toolAdhere to the change management policyWork on an out of hours support rota to address business critical support issuesTo contribute or otherwise assist as required by IT ManagementThorough knowledge of and compliance with Continuum procedures and standardsMust have a generic knowledge of system management best practices, monitoring, change control, etc; as it relates to the datacenter as well as end users.Desired Skills
