Formulate and define project scope and objectivesCreate project plans, estimating, milestones and cost/budgetEnsure project progresses on schedule within budgetCreate change management proceduresEstablish communications plansIdentify risks and contingency plansEstablish standards and procedures for reporting and documentationReview status reports prepared by project personnel and adjust scheduling as requiredDevelop integrated project plans, implementation schedules, and cost estimatesMonitor project effectiveness; effect changes required for improvementHire and retain talent to provide professional, high quality service to customersCommunicate regularly with management regarding the status of current projectsManage the programming, planning, design, construction and activation of projectsAct as liaison between the client/users and all other project participants including consultants, contractors, vendors and outside jurisdictional agenciesSuggest and implements alternative solutions to problems with study timelines, schedules, resources, budgetsMonitor ongoing resource needs to projectProvide appropriate project tracking using computer assisted programs and ensure timely entry of project informationLead new project from DR0 (Concept Phase) through DR3 (Release to Manufacturing)Define needs, Develop and lead cross-functional teams as required by the projectOrganize and lead regularly scheduled project meetings to identify required actions and its timely completionPrepare new product introduction plans resulting in an effective development, Marketing and Mfg. LaunchWork with cross functional groups to accomplish tasks identified in design review checklistEnsure product bill of materials are error freePrepare an effective product qualification plan and ensure timely completionEnsure all Mfg. Requirements are being metEnsure all documentation i.e. drawings, assembly and test procedures are in placeEnsure short and long-term material strategy is in placeEnsure engineering proto units are being built and handled in a timely mannerLead yield improvement and cost reduction activitiesLead activities to minimize field returns and lead-time required to analyze those returnsQualification, Skills & Experience RequiredBachelors degree in Engineering, Operations or similar discipline, MBA & PMP Certificate preferred.Minimum 5 years experience in a Customer/Client facing role.Excellent communication skills, including presentations, written communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem solving skills and demonstration of conflict resolution skillsExperience of working in a team environment, changing roles between actively supporting other members of the team to leading the team with focus on the customerGood financial awareness and ability to bring that to discussion/negotiations with key customer decision makersHigh energy level, self-motivated, and with a proven ability to learn quickly, multi-task and work independently as well as part of a teamExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English is essential and Hindi (spoken) will be an added advantage.Excellent organizational skills.
