Manage financial performance of assigned projects or client engagements, including budget and profit margin attainment, accurate forecasting of hours and revenue and management of project funding. Create estimates, project plans and schedules. Track plan vs. actual and drive on-time completion of projects. Manage delivery resources and work products for assigned projects. Manage project scope, administering change control as required to adhere to contracted scope and terms and conditions. Set client expectations and proactively address issues or changes related to scope. Manage interactions with clients and sponsors at all levels of the organization. Drive positive client satisfaction and reference-ability. Create and maintain project management artifacts such as but not limited to the program management plan, project plan, risk/issue management log, weekly status reports, communication plan, change control register. Provide essential input and participate in the contracting process. Participate in the negotiation process for contracting and new business. Analyze situations/data and perform in an advisory role to the client Demonstrate business acumen and expertise in selected client industries and applications. Perform problem solving, without assistance and guidance. Understand and apply relevant methodologies and practices. Deliver high quality work products. Lead in development of accelerators and best practices. Lead in business development activities, proposals, estimation of effort, business case preparation and related activities.Required Skills 6+ years of experience in implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients. 8+ years project management in a professional services environment. Functional or technical knowledge relevant to practice focus. Experience with implementation of one or more enterprise technologies (ERP, Value Chain, Asset Management, Business Intelligence, Utilities) strongly desired. Previous functional or technical role in systems integration or consulting. Process design and implementation. Business case development. Financial management, work estimation and budgeting. Project planning and tracking, Microsoft project. Previous experience managing in a matrix environment. Able to drive high levels of client satisfaction with individual and company performance. Able to mentor and direct other team members. Strong interpersonal skills (including written/verbal communications and listening). Able to lead meetings or presentations with clients and/or internal personnel at all levels, including C-level. Open shares information and knowledge; open to new ideas and positions. Solution oriented able to effectively design and implement processes. Self-directed. Able to work in a high pressure environment and under tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills that traverse up and down both the internal and client organization. Able to prioritize, proactively anticipate client s questions/needs. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Able to collaborate with other team members. Presents positive and professional image. Undergraduate degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline may be required. Able to travel up to 100% and meet physical requirements of the position.
