The person will be supporting the development of the Ormco business activities in India, based out of Hyderabad.Exploring sales growth opportunities and sales development to our distribution partners as well as cultivating relationships. Develop leads from our distribution channels by creatively finding ways to penetrate the market and generate additional leads. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESVisit assigned customers on a regular basis to promote products, relate new product information and receive feedback on the companys products and services. Additional duties and responsibilities includeMeet monthly, quarterly, and annual sale quotasVisit potential customers to qualify them as sales prospects for the corporationUnderstand and support the corporations sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all of the corporation s customersRelate new product ideas and product extensions to marketing management for evaluationFollow corporate policies regarding customer entertainment and customer relationsReview and report complaints received from customers and recommend corrective action to the Regional Sales ManagerCollect and report competitive information to Marketing ManagementPrepare periodic reports including weekly call reports; weekly expense reports; periodic general reports; other reports as assignedQualifications Most Important Qualifications and CompetenciesBachelor in Business or EconomicsUp to 4 years sales and general business experienceDemonstrated ability to relate well with people and work in a professional work environmentWillingness to operate in an international environmentFluent in local language and EnglishPrevious experience within the medical devices, life sciences or pharmaceutical industryPersonal Trait ProfileStrong communication skills & relationship skillsCustomer-orientedSelf-sufficientEnthusiasticTeam PlayerConfidentProven successful in negotiationsStrong presentation skills with the ability to do product demonstrationsStrong Time Management skillsWilling and able to travel.
