Job Details

1) Very strong expertise of L2/L3 packet forwarding concepts and implementation experience. VLAN, Transparent Bridging, IP routing, ARP, Bridge Routing, 802.1ad, IP and MPLS tunneling, filter rules and ACL.2) Strong knowledge of packet optical transport technologies such as MPLS-TP and Pseudowire encapsulations. MPLS BFD and protection.3) Strong knowledge of MEF compliant Ethernet services such as VPWS, VPLS and EVPN. Ethernet OAM (Y1731) and protection (LAG, MCLAG and ring protection).4) Strong knowledge of Traffic Management concepts, Qos, meters, policers, shapers, queuing and scheduling.5) Hands on working experience on at least one high end packet forwarding ASIC such as Broadcom, Marvell or EZChip. Working experience with third party SDK.6) Good understanding of various control plane protocols such as OSPF-TE, RSVP-TE, LDP and BGP.7) Good understanding of different net-management protocols such as netconf, yang, SNMP and openflow.8) Hands on working experience delivering features on virtualization, device drivers etc9) Strong system programming skills in multithreaded distributed embedded systems. Hands on experience of handling large volume of packets/events, such as protocols packets, slow path forwarding, MAC learning.10) Good understanding of platform concepts such as high availability, ISSU, check pointing, audit etc.
Degree: M.Sc. (Science) | MCA/ PGDCA | ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering) | B.Sc. (Science) | BCA (Computer Application)
