Payroll Process Management - Review Payroll Input Files, coordinate /follow up with stakeholders & vendors, ensure file correction and ensure correct file is loaded in Payroll Ensure Inputs Consolidation/ Conversion (if needed)/ Uploading/ Manual entry - includes corrections of errors and coordination with the businesses/HR Ops Ensure timely and accurate execution of payroll & tax process (defined region), 100% align both local and global compliance Responsible for Intercompany Billing (IBS) - coordinate with finance on billing related to ESP (Company Matching), charge back (back billing from new to old entities) etc., Provide details / provide responses to audit clarification, prepare schedules Closely work with vendor to administer pension movement and audit Provide/respond to Finance & HR inquiries Responsible for tracking /preparing month Payroll Metrics - includes raw data gathering/template + actual reporting Drive vendor delivery per SLA and manage vendor performance through centralization & simplification Support with Accounts Reconciliation / Posting Process Applying legal patches in the system (CPF rates, or any changes that affects calculation or statutory reporting) - Communicate changes to Vendor and ensure that changes are implemented, tested and rolled out. Support any initiatives that require Payroll's Subject Matter Expertise or involvement (including Change Requests) Review as-is process, identify & lead improvement plan by implementing lean methodology, drive operation excellence Take lead on local implementation of global projects to drive adherence to payroll enterprise standards Coordinate with Vendor /Local Contacts for Approval & submission of Local Country Related Statutory Forms (e.g., IR21 Cessation Form / CPF & IRAS Forms for Singapore) & OR similar requirements for Indonesia Should have sound knowledge on mobility/expat payroll. Check on the GME link alerts & take appropriate actions Coordinate on tax invoice billing from Crimsonlogic (Singapore) or any other similar local country related government portals/ website and send to the team to raise POOthers - Develop best practices and process improvements Work on adhoc reports and share with stakeholders as and when requested Provide effective and timely resolution to queries from employees and other stakeholders Understand the business hierarchy, analyze data issues and provide support to the user population and also support the region on all payroll related requirements Ability to work with various stakeholders who manage other downstream systems, especially OHR/ HR Ops tools etc.,Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors Degree with at least 6+ years of experience in end to end Payroll Process through a reputed vendor /data entry/ client servicing /customer service role & other tools. Strong knowledge around the payroll process and statutory requirements for countries such as Indonesia/Vietnam/Malaysia & other ASEAN countries Should have a sound knowledge of downstream systems supporting payroll Outstanding accuracy skills & eye for details Customer service focus with controllership mind set and positive can-do attitude Ability to work within time constraints to meet daily objectives Well versed with Microsoft Excel /Word/Power Point and web-based applications Flexibility in order to meet customer needs and deadlines is a MUST Previous high-level transaction processing experience Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Demonstrated analytical abilityDesired Characteristics Masters degree, MBA or other advanced degree will be an added advantage Analytical and strategic thinking skills Comprehensive understanding of and ability to assimilate local regulatory and complianceRequirement into an ongoing operational framework.
