Job Details

Manage / Drive payroll integration projects for APAC / EMEA HMP countries, along with day to day operationso Accountability/Vendor Management o Support operations resources in building their knowledge and awareness of core processeso Accountable for ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing by vendors. o Drive issues escalated to vendor/technology team to closure.o Participate in Tier 1 Meeting and escalate key issues in Tier 2/3 Participate in leadership reviews and MOR o Support organization goals as per AOP and STRAPo Support execution of SDP projects o Lead the HOS improvement initiativeso Responsible for people development and succession planning for own role o Provide feedback on performance and behaviors; and provide inputs in preparing development planso Conduct periodic performance assessment and appraisals as per HPD process for any direct reports (this can also be an IC role) o Facilitate brainstorm sessions to drive Kaizen cultureo Facilitate resolution of issues raised by the team o Conduct regular Gemba to ensure HOS behaviors are followed by team members.o Coach team members on the behaviors critical to driving and sustaining HOS culture as applicable o Responsible to provide updates to maintain Skill Matrix and Cross Training Plans for the team by working with Peer managers.o Attend conference calls with members of the Centers of Excellence (COE), as per requirement. o Liaison with the COEs for feedback on process improvements. o Actively participate in designing of process in new transitions.o Manage delivery of all transactions within SLA on all projects o Resolve escalations related to HR Applicationso Coordinate with the HRIT to resolve the technical issues. o Effective relationship management with key stakeholders and customers.o Actively participate in cross-functional networks to achieve common businesso Good understanding of PeopleSoft, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) o Basic knowledge of HR processes, back-end operations and experience in working with global customerso Up-to-date knowledge on legislative changes. o Strong Business and Functional acumen and Market Intelligence.o Lead change management initiatives (process-, cultural-, policy-related) o Good communication (written and spoken) and demonstrates active listening skillso Effectively engages with cross-functional committees and virtual teams o Knowledge of project management tools and methodologieso Knowledge of MS-Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint 2007) o Effective people / stakeholder management skills including coaching and dealing with difficult situationsQualifications Graduate / PG in any discipline (preference for commerce) 5- 8 years of experience in payroll in medium / large scale industry Experience of handling end to end payroll processing function Complete end to end knowledge of Payroll for multiple countries Working knowledge of MS Office and advance level skills in Excel Experience in working in back office Good Analytical skills Good verbal & written communication Self motivated Effectively engages with cross-functional committees and virtual teamso Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies o Knowledge of MS-Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint 2007)o Effective people / stakeholder management skills including coaching and dealing with difficult situations
