Job Details

Interprets and advises on impact of changes to regulations and company standards. Identifies and implements best practice solutions in a timely manner.In collaboration with other Global Systems & Data Management team members, establishes standards and guidelines for data entry, and procedures and training in support of established standards.Audits and validates that data standards are followed.Assists in correcting identified data issues.Evaluates need for, impact of, and alternatives for proposed system changes in support of Systems Specialists and GAIA Change Control Board, and in light of the vision to maximize the use of standard functionality and content.Assists in the development and use of standard reports in GAIA and/or other systems including HSIMS for PEHS associatesProvides support for resolution of system blocks for SVT, SDS Distribution, and / or dangerous goods for escalated issues.Provides functional support of planned system upgrades and changes, including user acceptance testing (UAT) as assigned.Responsible for quarterly OCC data load process.Supports users through training and communication, including for new or changed system functionality.Participates in global product EHS functional teams and task forces as requested.Oversees the work of Master Data Specialists as requested.KEY REQUIREMENTSEducation Bachelor Degree in Science / Engineering with 3-5 years of experience OR Advanced Technical Degree with 0-3 years of experienceExperience min 3-5 yrs in the PEHS domain having a broad knowledge of chemicals regulation and technical knowledge in 1 or more of the following disciplines Dangerous Goods, Regulatory Compliance, Product Stewardship, Hazard Communication, Toxicology, Risk Assessment Know-how/skills Works independently with demonstrated proficiency in the use of PEHS systems and databases.
