Lead and actively participate in the day-to-day activities of the Performance Reporting Team.Manage, coach and motivate the Performance Reporting Analysts to achieve their set goals and deliverables.Partner with key stakeholders, at all levels, to understand and define the reporting requirements which will enable ITSO to manage and make necessary decisions on its operational performance.Prepare the annual work plan and ensure necessary budgets and resources are included.Support the implementation of the Enterprise Reporting and Analytics strategy in ITSO.Implement operational discipline to ensure timely and accurate publication of reports (scheduled & ad-hoc) used as basis for reviews between ITSO and Business IT, or with key suppliers.Conduct final review of reports & management dashboards prior to publication.Ensure the data extraction and consolidation from various sources & tools for data analysis and reporting are available and defined.Provide guidance on reporting processes & standards to immediate team as well as relevant stakeholders.Lead the effort to ensure the team builds and maintains a report library and work instructions for all reports.Active demonstration of initiating, leading and driving continuous improvements to drive reporting standardization, rationalization, and simplification.Support the team when facing challenges and be the escalation point for performance reporting related issues/queries.Support the Enterprise Reporting Manager in special projects as and when needed.Support the development of analytics capabilities in the team.Dimensions and Special ChallengesBuilding and managing a team of approximately 10 Shell staff (9 in Bangalore; 1 in Houston)Working in a global, virtual environment with key stakeholders and culturally diverse team members requires a great deal of flexibility and understanding.Managing multiple delivery priorities/requests and achieving a win-win solution, wherever possible.Collaboration with multiple stakeholders in various organizations as well as with key suppliers.Driving and embedding standard and effective reporting/analytics processes & tools.RequirementsMandatory Qualifications and Skills12-15 years of experience in IT with exposure to Service Level Management, Management Information or Analytics.Team Leadership experience with proven track record in motivating, coaching and developing staff to achieve their full potential.Able to foster team effectiveness.Proven experience in developing effective, high quality performance reporting/dashboards and analytics. Understanding or knowledge of analytics tools supporting the reporting process.Highly motivated with strong stakeholder relationships and management with ability to influence.Able to work collaboratively and effectively with all levels in the organization and across different geographies.Able to handle multiple tasks with appropriate priority and strong time management skills.Attention to detail a must, with focus on quality and accuracy, coupled with proven ability to see the bigger picture and business context.Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.Proficient use of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Strong communicator in both spoken and written English.
Degree: MCA/ PGDCA | ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering) | BCA (Computer Application)
