JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES 1) Capacity Utilization --> Ensure optimum capacity utilization of machines as per production plan , in order to generate maximum output of different products. 2) Manpower Management-->Inspect, Guide and support to Shift In-charges and review performance of operators, Fitters and Helper to perform their jobs efficiently with help of Food Head. Communicate jobs to Shift In-charges, which need special attention along with guidelines,planning & co-ordination. 3) Verification of Records-->Verify log-sheets and records maintained by Shift In-charges, operators and fitters for timely completion, correctness and fulfillment of the requirements. 4) Monitoring of Critical Control Points-->Advise to Shift In-charges to control critical process deviation , to avoid generation of Non-conforming product.Verify actions to control non-conformances in the process along with recording of root cause, corrective action and preventive action in respective records. 5) GMP Systems & EHS--> Effective implementation and monitoring of Good Management Practices (GMP) and management system requirements (i.e. QEH&FS) in the process areas. Verify and initiate action against abnormality observed in plant process with respect to machine, manpower, building & utility etc., as reported by shift In-charge. 6) Plant Maintenance-->Verify maintenance activities process breakdowns and check report on cause of breakdown and corrective and preventive action. Verify implementation of preventive maintenance schedule. 7) Consumption of utilities-->Ensure optimum consumption of power, steam, process chemicals, Air, Water, spares etc. through control of all type of leakage and efficient uses to meet out benchmarks. 8) Quality Control-->Ensure samples drawing at defined interval and timely receipt of Quality control reports, efficient cleaning of magnets and sieves and effective monitoring of CCPs. Ensure use of calibrated instruments in the process, strictly. 9) Co-ordination-->Ensure Communication and coordination with concerned service departments (eg. Stores, HR, Safety, Boiler, Power house etc.) to take support for controlling any type of process deviations and completion of the task. 10) Material Management--> Maintain Minimum Stock Level (MSL) of critical spare parts and consumables including Red tag items. Preparation and implementation of action plan for inventory management. 11) Cost Reduction Measures --> Initiate and implement methods to reduce process cost,under various heads and also prepare detailed project report and submit to Food - Head on a monthly basis . 12) Customer Complaints --> Study and analyze customer complaints and discuss with various agencies so as to initiate appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Also ensure that CAPA documents are closed within 12 days from the date of complaint received. 13) Training & Development--> Train & develop shift-incharges , supervisors, operators and helpers for effective and efficient working. 14) Data Management , Audit & MIS-->Preparation and filing of documents required for audits (eg. Cert-Id, HACCP,ISO,FSSAI,HALAL,GMP,Sedex etc.) . Prepare MIS reports and submit to Food head , marketing dept , export dept. and MIS dept. 15) Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) --> Preparation and implementation of action plan for TPM. Conduct regular meetings with plant TPM members for discussing issues related to implementation of TPM.
