The ProjectManagement Office (PMO) Analyst supports the ISC Global Portfolio Manager in managingand administering IS project investments and benefits within the Integrated Supply Chain systemsarea. The Analyst works in partnershipwith IS COE leaders, GSOs, iprogram managers and project managers in drivingexecutional excellence to deliver business results according to the budget;delivering project portfolio with quality, accuracy, and timeliness, compliantwith GPMO best practices, aligned with DIAL methodology and ZBB policies.The Analyst supportsthe process of building and maintaining the project portfolio.The Analystassists in prioritizing projects.The Analystassists business case owners in initiating, executing, and closing projects.The Analystadministers the portfolio in the MSPS tool.The Analystsupports the Portfolio Manager as needed, including providing backup tohim/her.The Analystmonitors project execution status, provides exception reporting and acts uponexceptions or escalates to appropriate management.The Analystprovides summary and exception reports to ensure visibility of portfolioproject status and health.The Analysts assistsproject managers in use of the project management tools and processes,including DIAL and financial management tools such as the AR Model.The Analyst developsand executes tools to facilitate the consolidations and reports for themeetings of the governance.The Analystdiscusses project status with business case and project owners and theirmanagement. The analyst ensures thatproject status reports are complete and written clearly.The Analyst collaboratesacross the Global PMO Team with reports and new ideas in order to improve andfacilitate the implementation of portfolio governance.The Analyst drivesadoption with influencing and disciplining the COE, GSO and PMs in the newglobal ways of working in all regions, from project initiation to projectcompletion.The Analyst providescoaching and training on project management tools, to ensure project delivery excellence.Describethe primary responsibilities of the position in order of importance andidentify % of time spent on that responsibilityPortfolioReporting and AnalysisRun summary andexception reports and analyze themFollow up withexception areasDraw inferencesfrom the reports and alert COE management and PMO management of issuesStatus, process,benefit reportingDiscuss statusmonthly with each project team and ensure the reporting is clear and visibleValidate projectcost actuals and forecasts are reported accurately and timelyEnsure benefitsare properly forecasted quarterly.Ensure processcompliance to DIAL and financial processes.Performfollow-up activities to ensure project manager complianceAdherence to DIALand project management methodologiesEnsureappropriate DIAL, financial and project management artifacts are completedAssist intraining project managers on required administrative toolsProvidesuggestions to improve project management and DIAL processes.Internaland external contactsCritical relationships required with the following internal & external individuals/organizationsInternalProject andProgram ManagersCOE leaders,Global Solution Owners, IS Business PartnersGlobal andregional PMO leadersEnterpriseApplication Services (EAS) Release ManagementBPE teamExternalExternal project managers from third partyExternal providers of applicationsExternal service providersExternal BPOsCOMPETENCIES/ABILITIES These are key observable/measurable skills, knowledge and behaviors required that contribute to successful performance in the position.
