This role is responsible for devising and implementation of Risk Governance framework Pan India. Ensuring credit and risk strategy aligned with the market trends to facilitate favorable business environment and to build and maintain portfolio quality. Maintain productivity at the desired levels aligned with organizational goals and objectives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Strategy formulation, product and policy designShould work closely with Sr Management and provide assistance on formulation and implementation of Risk strategyWork closely with business team and provide concrete inputs on development and or improvement of existing productDevise credit and risk policy obtain management buy in and ensure implementation.% Importance of Responsibility 40%% Time Consumed 50%2. Portfolio Monitoring Devise information dashboards covering all aspects of portfolio and productivity and methodology for information dissemination at appropriate levels.Monitor the credit productivity on daily basis and take corrective action to facilitate smooth functioning of businessUndertake periodic portfolio reviews with respective stakeholders to identify the bottle neck and make action plan. Anticipate risks due to change in business and regulatory environment and take corrective actionEngage with local intermediaries to undertake detailed market survey. Identify areas of concern and pockets to maximise business opportunityKeep updated with market and industry specific changes and bring about changes in policy and product and maintain competitiveness Regulatory reporting to be done as per standards after checkingEnsure control over credit loss in the portfolioClosely monitor flow of accounts and drive collection team to collect the accountsEnsure delinquency ratio within the permissible limits% Importance of Responsibility 30%% Time Consumed 10%3. Audit & ComplianceEnsure Team is updated and trained with regards to risk and compliance normsLead and engage with regulators for any kind of audits and inspection. Ensure minimum no of audit observationDevise the Risk Control matrix covering all the stages of process.Undertake periodic audit of branches to ensure process compliance and control effectivenessIdentify the process improvement and standardisation opportunities% Importance of Responsibility 15%% Time Consumed 10%4. Risk Budgeting, Hiring & Vendor ManagementIdentify the process improvement and standardisation opportunities% Importance of Responsibility 15%% Time Consumed 30%Qualifications and Experience RequirementEssential - Graduate / Post graduate in any discipline.Preferred - CA / CSExperienceCandidate should have prior experience of 8 to 10 years in Retail Finance Industry.Candidate should have sound knowledge of business environment Pan indiaShould have sound communication and report writing skillsShould have some knowledge about financial statements Should be conversant with word and excel.Should have thorough understanding of regulatory guidelinesShould have good Analytical skills.SKILLS & ATTRIBUTE REQUIREDa.
