Taking ownership of the companys online presence in all aspects, develop and implement the eCommerce portal strategy in a way that is market leading, scalable, and accurately aligned to the business planDefine and Implement a portal strategy with focus on acquisition of new customers, exceeding budgeted portal advertising revenue target and engaging customers with rich contentMaximize trading potential of the website, in tandem with other channels of the business and in line with the overall Business Plan.Understand the end to end customer experience and drive product, pricing, promotions and distribution changes to enhance the experience and drive revenueManage incremental website development and website content production to ensure fitness for purposeChampion the customer experience within the overall design and development of the web site and lead and drive the performance and capabilities of the team to support achievement of the business KPIs.Implementation and support of Content Management Systems as part of the Portal infrastructureEnsure high availability of the Portal environment through the implementation and application of release management processes and proceduresManage 3rd party contracts and SLAs for content delivered via the portalManage a team of developers, content editors and graphic artistsManage portal development projects, timelines and deliverablesDesired Candidate ProfileB.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / MBAwith 8 to 12 years of experience in managing eCommerce portalsPrevious experience growing and expanding online presence and salesCustomer centric, with a good understanding of online consumer behaviorExcellent understanding of internet portal content strategiesProblem solving skillsGood time management skills and attention to detail.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesExcellent team management and motivational skillsProject management skills able to prioritize, organize a varied and full workloadStrong interpersonal skills ability to get along with a variety of peopleProactive attitude able to spot project-based issues ahead of time and propose appropriate solutions.Strong verbal and written communication skills
Degree: MBA/ PGDM | ME/ M.Tech./ MS (Engg/ Sciences)

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering)

Experience: 8-12
