Investigate the events of a voyage, deviations from the initial agreement and check what was contractually agreed around the costsPrepare claims with third parties and stakeholders to maximize income for Shell while reducing cost paid by ShellEnsure a timely recovery of claims and correct reflection of all activities and financial implication in trading systemsWork according to best practices and shared knowledgeUse a continuous improve mind-set to support process improvementsFollow internal procedures to receive approval for payments and escalate to Team lead when needed in a timely mannerTake responsibility for safety, compliance and audit readinessSupport and work with internal customers, like Commercial OPS, Contracts, Trading & Supply, manufacturing teams to increase operational excellence, identify profit leakage and advise remediesAdvise all Shell stakeholders on improvements creating end to end value for ShellRequirementsRequirementsBachelor s degree (previous work experience will be taken into consideration for any candidates who might not meet the educational standard)The ability to read and interpret legal languageExcellent communication skills and able to build solid working relationships with internal and external customers.Motivated, results driven and ability to work under pressureExperience in the industry and knowledge of Post Deal costs is an advantage
