Key member of the team responsible for driving $20M+ efficiency savings across NPI (New Product Introduction) Engineering process through an enterprise Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) solution (Sopheon Accolade) This role is responsible to the SBG Engineering and Accolade implementation team for the NPI (New Product Introduction) process and stage gate definition, and will act as custodian of the Harmonized NPI process defined by the SBG stakeholders Responsible for Enterprise Portfolio management business requirement translation to implementable use cases as per SBG NPI processes, presented as customer facing story points Responsible for maturing the Engineering business requirements, driving first pass yield (99%) on quality and driving down rework Lead functional documentation design and development (use cases, functional specifications, reports, screen prototypes) Visualize outputs of the system and ensure its defined and developed as per stakeholder expectations and VOC Escalate gaps and issues proactively in system definition, output definition and quality requirements Participates in fit/gap analysis of functional requirements and Accolade features Drive harmonization of NPI process ownership within SBGs, providing guidelines and identifying best practices to SBG stakeholders. Work with SBG IT and business focal to create approved baselines of processes prior to initiating configurations in the system Act as a primary SME liaison between business users, IT project team and Sopheon on the NPI process. Elicit non-functional requirements including performance and security at early stages, ensuring a robust system is planned and built. Facilitate functional requirements walkthroughs and respond to Test and other functional teams questions from implementation and validation perspectives Work closely with Project Manager, Architects, Developers, Test team, business users/stake holders and applicable outside entities ensuring the program is successful Drive configuration discussions against customization, ensure off the shelf features are used to the fullest extent. Contribute to development of user guides, reference manuals, training materials and code release artifacts as appropriate. Participate in change management activities. Enable the Change Manager decisions with logical reasoning, data and facts supporting the change. Ensure stakeholders sign-off on requirements during stage gate processes. Carry out acceptance test prior to acceptance delivery to stakeholders and finally customers Verify business value of the solution, carry out corrective and improvement actions working with leadership and key stakeholdersQualifications Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other related discipline 10+ years of Systems Analysis experience in handling large scale projects, PPM/ERP/CRM implementation. Experience with Engineering NPI processes and systems / tools Exposure to PLM/PDM systems knowledge is a plus Experience in enabling Agile based solution delivery working closely with SCRUM Master / Deployment leader. Experience in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements development and testing Experience working with a technical team ensuring requirements are implemented correctly Impeccable oral and written communication skills Strong customer relationship management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) Excellent attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks Highly organized, energetic, creative, passionate, team player
Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering)
