Assessing the market and the CMS opportunity;Understand CMSs strategic directions; and define and execute the vision, strategy (including lifecycle management), and product(s) roadmap.Responsible for assessing what markets CMS should compete in, determining gaps in the CMS portfolio, partnering with customers, sales, marketing and product development to formulate and introduce new or current products.Ability & experience of meeting with senior client & partner /alliance stakeholders to understand their needs, partnering opportunities, identify solution possibilities to drive value.Understand the competitive landscape to recommend differentiation, develop a value-based selling model to achieve revenue objectives, and coordinate across other CMS divisions to optimize their investments as well as cross sell.This role will specifically engage clients and/or partners along with pre sales & account/territory managers in identifying and progressing revenue opportunities.Work with Marketing & Sales teams to build product pipeline.The product manager will be responsible for revenue numbers across regions/territory, pipeline, Pricing, skills development, production planning, services wrap around under each product category he/she is responsible for.Participate in events and work with Media under the supervision of Marketing to drive product awareness. Work with Marketing to build collateral including brochures, web presence, social media. This role will report into Product Group / Business Unit leader and work with other Sales, Business Development and Solution Development teams within CMS. Experience, Education & General Requirements- B Tech or B. Sc Engineering (4 year course) is a must. MBA is an added advantage.At least 5-10 years of experience in product management, account management or pre sales. This experience should be in the same domain/area.Appreciation of Technology, technology stacks, Enterprise solutions; at least 2-3 years of experience in similar areas.Appreciation of Server / storage architectures as well as Middleware stacks is an advantage.Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment.Knowledgeable across multiple functional areas such as product management, Engineering, sales, customer support, finance or marketing.Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends.Business/commercially-focused and results oriented. Strong fiscal focus including ROI and Cost Benefit Analysis.Experience making presentations to IT executives.Thorough Professional, decisive with integrity and high ethical standards.Excellent oral and written communication; Strong listening & presentation skills; Process oriented skills for continuous improvement;Must be a self-starter, proactive and highly organized.
