As Product Manager, you will be charged with a product line (for the under-banked Micro & Small Enterprises) contribution as a business unit. This extends from increasing the profitability of existing products to developing new products for the company. You will build products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on your industry experience and your contact with customers and prospects. You must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy (in the line you are applying for); a big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality.A product manager's key role is strategic as well as tactical.Job Responsibilities To manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activitiesTo manage the design, features and benefits of products, volume forecasting & market shareTo carry out pricing analysis, determine and support distribution channels, design, develop and implement promotional plans for the products.To specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers.To drive a solution set across development teams (Credit, Operations, technology and Marketing Communications) through market requirements, product contract, and positioning.To communicate with all areas of the company, including (but only) distribution/sales, credit, operations, technology, communication and strategy.To work with and credit counterpart to define product underwriting and release requirements.To work with marketing communications to define the go-to-market strategy, helping them understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.To serve as the internal and external evangelist for your product offering, closely working with the distribution/sales channels and key customers.To develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments including distribution/sales channels to execute.To organize product trainings for launch, expansion and capacity buildingTo analyze potential partner relationships for the product.To ready and execute the competition and market share strategy for the product line on an ongoing and pro-active basis.Qualification Informed in market competition, industry practices and regulations for Micro & Small Enterprises Lending.MBA/ PGDM or equivalentSkills required Strong analytical, problem solving and financial management and communication skills. Knowledgeable in technology and current developments in financial technologyGood communication skillsExperience 3+ years of product line experience (sales/credit/product/marketing) Micro & Small Enterprises Lending with at least 1 year of product management experience. Professionals with experience of small business lending are especially encouraged to apply.Experience of bills discounting/purchase and cash management is desirable but not mandatory.
