DescriptionProduct Managers are the architects of Capillarys product offerings and the key drivers of product line success and adoption by the retail customer base. They drive the vision and strategy of the product line and its delivery and execution across the organization. Capillary is launching exciting and innovative products in the retail space. The platform on which the products are built include not only technology infrastructure but also must be architected in such a way as to allow for growth and innovation within the product lines.The Product Manager OmniChannel will be responsible for defining the scope and details of omni-channel strategy for customer engagement suitable for retail clients of Capillary that are spread across the globe and belong in multiple verticals of retain segment. The ideal candidate will have experience in understanding the difference channels of reaching customers and their relative value in engagement, would have customer centric attitude where a business to business solution understands the end customer and caters to the needs of the business customers and creates win-win solutions. Has experience working with internal and external stakeholders to define the needs of the business. Ideal candidate would have experience identifying and working with partners for specific technological or domain expertise that keeps the business always ahead.Role & ResponsibilityTake a key role in working with the execution of projects sponsored by the Capillarys Omni-channel modules, identify requirements, define the product vision and strategy for the omni-channel engagement of end customers, create preliminary design concepts and in some cases lead the implementation of the overall product from concept to delivery.Able to identify relative advantages of different channels to engage with customers and how to use them in most efficient manner for Capillary s needsProduce detailed product and functional requirements that will drive product development, testing and deploymentWork with product and engineering teams to create and execute projects that position Capillary as an omni-channel product catering to varied needs of retailers and demographs across the globeIdentify and work with partners where the specific technology or domain expertise is available and is more efficient than building our ownProfessional traits that are not unique to this position, but necessary for Capillary leadersA passion to build powerful analytics driven cloud solutionsExhibits excellent judgmentHas relentlessly high standards (is never satisfied with the status quo)Is able to dive deep and is never out of touch with the details of the business or the technologyExpects and requires innovation of her/his teamHas passion and convictions and the innate ability to inspire passion in othersIs strongly oriented towards resultsThinks bigSkillsDesired Skills & ExperienceBachelors degree required i.e. BE/Btech from premier institutes (ex IITs, NIT s etc.), Masters degree, MBA is preferredExperience using professional verbal and written communication in a business setting2+ years of experience working with BtoBtoC products in preferably retail domainAbility to build business cases to justify product features and functionsExperience in writing logical and detailed product requirements and functional specificationsAbility to prioritize features into releases based on market realitiesProven ability to lead cross-functional environments including sales, marketing, business management, customer support and engineering teamsTrack record of successful collaboration with a product development team or organizationAbility to deliver results on multiple projects in a complex, fast moving environmentAbility to generate creative and innovative solutions for business problems and opportunitiesStrong business management and analysis skills; Great communication skills; Contagious cando attitude and self-sufficient work style; Comfortable in interacting with senior executives both internally and externallyStrong analytical acumen, and comfortable generating and evaluating various forecasts, metrics, and analysesAbility to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skillsPreferred QualificationsProven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and ability to work in a fast paced environment where continuous innovation is desiredSuperior verbal and written communications skills with high attention to detail including precise and effective customer communicationsAbility to think strategically and execute methodicallyHistory of teamwork and willingness to roll up ones sleeves to get the job doneProven analytical and quantitative skillsExperience in product management selling products to enterprisesProven track record of taking ownership and driving results
