Job Description Should have hands-on experience in managing development, Maintenance and support projects (exposure to legacy modernization, reengineering etc.) projects would be an added advantage Should have experience with software development methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, iterative, etc. Should have sound knowledge on Project Management practices and process areas like configuration management, release management, estimation, Change management , Risk management, etc. Should have good understanding of quality processes frameworks, measurements and compliances with respect to CMMi L5 1.3 / ISO certification. Experience with conducting / attending quality audits, PPM will be an added advantage Will be responsible to manage a team of 7-9 Project Managers / Project Leads / Practice leads as direct reportees at any given point in time total delivery team ranging from 100-125 resources Conduct periodic status review meetings to understand the health of project and take corrective actions when required Should think of his/her portfolio as a profit generating organization and plan, execute, monitor and control activities accordingly Should have experience with responding to RFI / RFPs, building proposals with most cost effective solution understanding the customer project objectives - should be able to coordinate with various stakeholders and get work done Track opportunity to proposal to project completion, and managing project contribution, utilization, productivity, etc. Should be able to coordinate with various enabling functions like HR, recruitment, Invoicing, etc. teams to track and ensure timely onboarding of resources, ensure smooth functioning of projects, arrest / mitigate revenue leakage positions / situations, timely invoicing of projects for work completed, etc. Conduct Level 2 interviews to ensure right candidates are inducted Ensure team members are on their growth path and continuously learning by creating growth plans, succession plans, training plans, etc. to ensure team competency is always improving Evaluating products / solutions proposed by quality / enabling teams to be used by delivery teams and provide feedback Attend periodic project status meeting, periodic Customer connect and ensure CSAT is high. Motivate the team Provide update the Sr. management on status of projects in the portfolio Look out for opportunities for business growth. Presentation to the customer about KPIT offerings, solutions, etc. Should be always aware of industry trends like in the space of cloud computing, IoT, bigdata, etc. Technical skills Java / J2EE, JavaScript, HTML, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, JSF, Database (Oracle/SQL server)
