JOB DESCRIPTION1. Lead cross-functional teams in the development of products from concept to launch or the launch of products into new markets; manages multiple, often concurrent projects /programs that are complex and require the management of intra- as well as inter-company elements and relationships;2. Responsible and accountable for all aspects of a particular program including the determination of product requirements, facilitation of program planning, tracking program costs and schedules, updates and other communications to the program team and otherstakeholders, and ensuring that the delivered product meets the customer's expectations for quality and functionality;3. Analyze complex problems and identify areas of risk; mitigate program and execution risks through early risk assessments and implementation of mitigation strategies;4. Responsible for ensuring completion of documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with business standards;5. Travel up to 30% of the time both domestically and internationally by any means necessary to support organizational goals;6. Lead and act as a trusted advisor; balance bottom line objectives with long-term interests of the customer;7. Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures, rules and regulations;8. Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.Supervisory/Management ResponsibilitiesDefine the of the organization this job is responsible for as well as the level of the positions reporting into this job.Individual contributor; position has no headcount or budgetary responsibility.may oversee the work of others; will represent the program in meetings; may provide mentoring in technical or organizational areas; may monitor the improvement of others; may provide constructive and timely feedback; may participate in the evaluation of assigned staff or project team members and in the identification of development needs; may assign work to team and/or project members; will collaborate with resource managers to assign staff to program / project tasks.Position Accountability / ScopeIndicate the reporting relationships, products, budgets, throughput, level of contacts (internal and external), or other scoping measures this job is responsible without appreciable direction; exercises considerable latitude in determining project / program objectives; completed work is reviewed from a relatively long-term perspective for desired results; develops a set of viable alternatives for management; relates risk and gain tocritical success factors and recommends actions; makes decisions, recommendations and sets meeting project / program expectations to achieve critical organizational objectives and business needs; drives functional performance to ensure that cross-functional standards and expectations are met; responsible for achieving the project / program's financial targets in support of the business objectives; controls budget to meet authorized funding, as agreed to by management; may assist in the training of personnel as directed by management; may mentor othersMinimumEducationIndicate the minimum education level to perform this job.4-year university degree;#Minimum Experience/Training RequiredIndicate the minimum experience and/or training required to perform this job.Typically requires 8+ years of experience in a complex, technical program / project management role to develop the competence required to meet the skills and responsibilities of the position.Candidates / incumbents should possess the following- background and experience leading commercial programs- skilled in effective leadership, planning, analysis and communication;- strong decision-making and problem-solving skills; demonstrated good judgment;- ability to be creative in achieving objectives while assuring compliance to internal and external requirements;- working knowledge of new product development methodologies;- ability to utilize commonly accepted project management tools to assist in the development of and adherence to a schedule;- ability or aptitude to work on problems that are complex in scope where analysis of situations or data involves multiple competing factors;- ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior;- ability to work independently and in groups; ability to work cross-functionally;- ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer software;
