Job Details

10-15 years of experience in the M2M or LPWAN sector with preference given to candidates with working experience in aMobile Network Operator Previous experience working for a multinational/global organization. Graduate in any discipline with a post-graduate degree/diploma in Business Development or an MBA from a recognized university/institute. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with different cultures (verbal and written). Ability to work well independently and proactively. Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate conference calls/project requirements outside of local time zones. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships across multiple levels and disciplines in the organization. Calm, composed, analytical, systematic, disciplined and professional (e.g. must be able to see the impact of local decisions to the broader company). Multi-faceted business development professional with demonstrated experience in all facets of M2M and/or LPWAN from a carrier perspective Excellent knowledge of developments in LPWAN pertaining to 3GPP and GSMA positioning and related mattersExperience Strong Customer Service orientation and understanding the customer's perspectives Demonstrates initiative Passion to win attitude Effective communication skills Good presentation skills Team working and ability to transfer team spirit to both the internal team and related partners Good problem solving and analytical skills Good leadership style Willingness to learn, share knowledge and transfer competence Ability to adapt to changes in working environment Ability to manage team from different cultures Strong networking ability to build relationships with complex carrier teams and standardization organizations to stay abreast of changing landscape Previous experience managing and developing creative strategies to address market introduction of new technologies Ability to work with Senior Management to build our capability to support Mobile Network Operators rolling out LoRaWAN and set business priorities Previous experience in M2M and LPWAN Experience working with Salesforce would be considered an asset Ability to travel extensively Key Accountabilities Lead project/program team and manage time, quality, progress, cost, issues, risks, internal and outsourced resources Monitor partners to deliver project/program as per agreements Manage the expectations of the different stakeholders Raise issues and decision request to manager whenever needed Define and implement Mobile Network implementation methodology Collaborate with Product, Engineers, Marketing, Mobile Network and Alliance stakeholders to strive for LoRaWAN deployment best practices. Keep pace with M2M, LPWAN and related industry trends and developments and report changes as needed. Plan the delivery of the overall Program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the Program Develop a Program evaluation framework to assess the strengths of the Program and to identify areas for improvement Develop forms and records to document Program activities Communicate and engage with carriers and other stake holders to gain community support for the Program and to solicit input to improve the Program Liaise with internal resources and partners to ensure the effective and efficient Program delivery Write monthly reports on the Program for Management and for stake holders Identify and evaluate the risks associated with Program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks Monitor the Program activities on a regular basis and conduct an quarterly evaluations with the carriers Creativity/Innovation Develop new and unique ways to improve LoRa adoption and go-to market strategies to create new opportunities. Focus on Mobile Network Operator needs Anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of the carriers to meet or exceed their expectations. Foster Teamwork Work co-operatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organizational effectiveness. Make Decisions Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization. Organize Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data, information and activities. Plan Determine strategies to move the Program and Semtech forward, set goals, create and implement action plans, and evaluate the process and results. Solve Problems Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.
