Job descriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned- Facilitating needs assessment and the development of recommended project control solutions to be used for planning, scheduling, and tracking projects through integration of various Project Management tools. Determines, monitors, and reviews all project economics to include costs, operational budgets, staffing requirements, resources, and risk. Contributes to project estimation process. Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to the project, including sub-contractor monitoring. Integrates and uses specific industry methodologies (such as, systems development, product development, and so forth). Works with management on project proposals, bids, contracts, estimates, and schedules. Coaches and advises team members to accomplish project goals, to meet established schedules, and resolve technical/operational issues. Developing capacity plan, cost summary and refresh requirements/estimates. Initiating root cause analysis for Capacity Plan shortcomings and determine capacity gaps. Synchronizing Capacity Plan requirements with Availability Plan. Developing recommendations to avoid capacity interruption and creating capacity requirements to meet future needs of enterprise. Speaking with authority to most layers of depth related to project management methods and making use of and contributes to companys Program Manager (PM) Professions community Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified. Under minimal direction, leads project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for small to medium projects. Implementing and maintaining effective interfaces with other Service Management disciplines and other areas within IT and the business. Maintaining effective financial and project progress forecasting, and reports as appropriate. Skills Must have knowledge of ITIL V3 certified (Management level certification). Should have excellent knowledge in implementation of the Service Management discipline(s) including project management. Should have experience and training in ITIL, Lean Six Sigma and Lean Management, CMMI, and general quality assurance and process improvement methodologies. Should have managed large multiple programs and responsible for delivery, customer interaction, new bids, people management. Should have experience in managing the P&L for accounts. Should be skilled on technologies like Java, .NET, Mobile (iOS, Android etc) Must possess strong technology management skills, understanding of technical concepts across multiple technical disciplines and ability to manage technical dependencies and mitigate risks. Detail-orientated and excellent planning, risk and project management skills will be an advantage. Strong budgetary, business planning skills, Influencing and negotiating skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Flexible approach and an ability to operate effectively with uncertainty and change. Proven experience managing high profile and complex projects with cross functional teams.
