PURPOSEThis role is responsible for the success of one or more internal or external projects generating 1 to 2 M$ revenue, with budget between 400K$ and 850k$ and project staff from 1 to 10, delivering the agreed scope on time, on or exceeding budget objectives (revenue, cost, margin), to customer expectations (CFF) and at the targeted quality level.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage the successful delivery of customer facing or internal projects and deliver the agreed scope to quality on time, on budget and to customer expectations.Generate and manage the project plan (milestones), resource plan (people), budget and risk register (identify, analyze and quantify) as per the SITA Methodology and interlock with partners/resource pool ownersManage the delivery phase versus the agreed baseline per defined SITA project management methodology, process and organization to manage and reduce overall risks and issues and to maximize profitability whilst managing scope and other changes and taking action to recover any discrepanciesManage project budget including Profit & Loss and cash and submit monthly Project Financial forecasts during the full life cycle so that profit margins are maintained or increasedValidate all scope/financial impact changes with line management, Project Review Board and Sponsor (for large and complex projects if appointed).Provide workload forecasts. Deploy and manage appropriate project team(s) and contributors according to project requirements whilst driving maximum utilization (whilst driving the most profitable resource cost base)Provide motivation and direction to the project team and monitor performanceEnsure customer satisfaction throughout the project life and support the Account Manager and Business Management in ensuring SITA meets its commercial objectives for the project and develops its relationship with the customer;Manage risks and issues and own escalations (in liaison with line management) and ensure customers fulfill their obligations and recover costs in case of lapses;Generate Change Requests as required and obtain appropriate customer and internal approvals, in line with project governance standards and ensure all project meetings are documented to reduce miscommunication risk and ensure traceability of decisionsManage 3rd party suppliers, both internal and external, in order to secure the delivery targets - Represent the project externally and internally by communicating and reporting on project status to the customer and internally to all stakeholders. Produce regular and accurate progress reports and present the project status at the Project Review Board meetings.Ensure effective transition to SITA Operations and conduct a formal project close, including review of any lessons learnedObtain documented customer acceptance of the project deliverables and a conduct customer satisfaction survey at end of the projectBe available to travel occasionally few times in the year, on short trips.Manage Projects of global scope, thus requiring to work in shift based upon the business/Project demands QualificationsEXPERIENCE-Ideally 4 years or more in Project Management having managed with a proven Project Management methodology one or more 'standard' projects with full budget responsibility in a commercial environment -Ideally8 years in IT solutions provider environment with knowledge of SITA-like products and underlying technologiesGood knowledge of WAN, LAN and telecom solutions.Experience working with Cisco router, switch, firewall productExperience working in international environment and with virtual teams. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSKnowledge of IT and Air Transport industries and economic driversCapability of organizing, coordinating and influencing virtual teams focused on delivery and support within an international environmentBe autonomous and agile in changing environments, with a sense of initiative and pro-activity. We are in a constantly changing business environment the ability to adapt and to take the initiative.Be knowledgeable with industry project management methodologies and practices.Be agile with IT, collaboration & diagramming tools. (including but not limited to MS Office suite, Visio, Sharepoint, messaging, on-line purchasing, web-conferencing systems)Speak/Write English fluently.
