QA Lead is responsible to co-ordinate and manage daily operations of QA. QA Lead should manage and measure manual testing QA process of all the applications under the purview of QA, of our big customer. QA Lead is expected to continuously improve the quality of deliverables and customer benefits.What you need to haveExcellent manual testing skillsKnowledge of BFSI / capital markets domainGood to have test automation skills and understanding.Hands on experience of being a change agent in implementing QA initiatives in an organizationGood understanding of STLC (which includes Agile Testing) and improvement of QA results for a customerExcellent communication skillsExcellent analytical abilitiesRelevant Experience of 8 years in Manual Testing and as a QA LeaderShould have been part of QA process improvement (at least in Testing space)Tools/Technology (Must)- SQL- Test Management and Defect Management tools- Use of Excel for measurement and reportingGood to have, Automation experience using- QTP / UFT (2-3 Yrs) (automation of Windows and Web based applications)- Selenium WebDriver (2-3 Yrs)- Java- Open Source toolsPrimary Skills- Manual Testing and Implementing of QA process (driving more Testing business and customer satisfaction), Good knowledge of SQLSecondary Skills- Automation Testing (Selenium WebDriver and QTP), Mobile Testing, ETL TestingDomain Knowledge- BFSI (Financial Services but preferably in Capital Markets)- Certifications (Optional but advantage) Agile Scrum MasterWhat you will be doingCollaborate with customer for manual testing and QAEnsure high quality (zero defect) testing during adhoc / regular releases within predefined time period.- Continuously measure, improve and Optimize Testing / QA Maturity (Measure & Present ROI / Maturity)- Design, concur & Implement Test Strategy for customer- Measure & Manage Application / System test resultsOptimize QA (Measure & Present ROI / Maturity)Ensure TC Readiness for Test AutomationPeople Management (Improve Team Skills / Maturity through regular HR activities)Track Resource Utilization and actively participate in HiringDefine Strategy, plan, monitor and control QA activitiesFunctional Point of contact for manual testing to drive conversations with business teams and managing client requests- Lead, guide and monitor the analysis, design, implementation and execution of the test cases, test procedures and test suites.- Perform a role of a Champion in testing domain to further improve QA processes.Should perform review of all deliverables from technical perspective- Review test management, manual test cases quality, test coverage and test automation impact.- Perform gap analysisTrack and report testing activities and resource utilization (which includes testing results, test case coverage, required resources, defects discovered and their status, and performance baselinesIdentifies quality improvement (and may be Automation opportunities) to further improve maturity and ensure client satisfactionShould have good understanding and experience on Automation tools and programming languages.Build positive and productive working relationships with customers for business growthFeed the overall project status to the senior managementDirectly and indirectly contribute to improve presence in account.
Degree: MCA/ PGDCA

Additional Degree: BE/ B.Tech (Engineering)
