Performs a variety of reconciliation tasks with limited complexityExchanges moderately complex information with othersWorks under general supervision and established proceduresMay support a range of products/servicesApplies detailed knowledge of a wide range of specialized administrative/technical skills; and most of the impact is related to the accuracy of tasks performedApplies attention to detail and task accuracyUnderstands how duties relate/integrate with others in the team/unitDevelopment ValueTraining, both on the job training and presented training coursesIncreased Product knowledgeExposure to clients and other departments within CitiThis is a great opportunity for a candidate looking to work in a controls environmentThe role will provide a high level of exposure to internal clients and enable the candidate to develop their client service skills. This is a necessary requirement for anyone hoping to progress into a more senior role within the Reconciliations departmentThe position will also help the candidate to enhance their knowledge of the clients supported within the GRU and their overall knowledge of the industryQualifications Knowledge/ExperienceExperience in a control, process or reconciliation environment preferentialMust have a good understanding of controls systemsMust use knowledge to resolve difficult reconciliation issuesMust be able to use experience to identify possible issues before they arise and also to be pro-active in resolving such issuesMust have the ability to multi-task by taking on extra ad-hoc tasks without letting the day-to-day tasks sufferAbility to liaise with demanding clientsAbility to work independently within a team environmentComputer literate and good typing skillsKnowledge of recon systems including TLM will be an added advantageSkills & CompetenciesTeam playerPlanning and OrganizingAnalytical/ReasoningCommunication/Interpersonal SkillsManaging Client Relations - Not fully necessary but would be advantageousSelf Motivated/Results OrientatedDisplays confidence in dealing with customers and colleagues.Maintains a control focus at all times.Must have strong analytical skills and PC skills.Must have good communication skills.Must have good time management skills.Ability to quickly adapt to changing dynamic environmentsShould be flexible with work shifts and be ready to work in different shifts with short notice
