Key Accountabilities and Skills requiredThis section should include Key specific accountabilities Managing the overall book of work for the teams in India including delivery against SLAs, issue resolution and change management as well as project delivery Leadership of the Reconciliation team across geographies, team that will be a mix of permanent and vendor staff Managing vendors to deliver the service levels required Escalation point for major Incident handling and problem managementManaging and reporting on deliveries against agreed SLAs and standardsEnsure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Operational Risk Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards.Managing various programs within Global Reconciliation Operations Technology to develop, enhance and support the strategic reconciliation platform (Hexad) to process reconciliations in real-time/batch mode and provide high volume processing, complex matching logic and workflow integration capabilities. Close liaison with Global Control and Trading Operation users to onboard Internal, External, Inter-company and Regulatory reconciliations by customizing the Data Loader and Match Rule engine to support the different formats of recs. Focused on business initiatives by migrating existing recs to Hexad from older rec platform and building a Franchise strategy to onboard new businesses onto Hexad. Manage various senior management stakeholders such as India BTCI leadership, APAC business users, Global business users, Global Head of Reconciliation, Global Head of ICT etc. Oversee the decommissioning of various systems by migrating the asset class specific functionality to strategic Reconciliationplatform and Optimize the applications footprint and then drive workforce strategy based on that. Achieve the RECONCILIATION cost targets by 2016 Migrate/Move majority of US/UK/Poland/Kiev and Signapore workforce to India and build capabilities to take on the work without any SLA breaches Accountable for design and architecture designs for India teams and making sure those are inline with global standards and principals. Provide thought leadership to India management to improve the efficiency of the team and help achieve cost targets and take on the cost challenges proactively Provide vendor governance to MSP staff to optimize their presence and achieve the cost save targets by reducing their footprint and bringing in the IP based work to perm employees versus vendors. This role will oversee close to 5 VPS and overall staff of 150/175 people including vendor senior staff Manage talent and help grow leadership Drive organization to own systems to build long term capabilities
