Manages Ref Data Product India captive teams and assures smooth collaboration with other regionsHas an overall responsibility and maintains governance framework over RDP India Affiliates teamsRealizes a global Ref Data Product strategy in India, ensures alignment with operations strategy and global securities reference data target operating model on behalf of Group Reference Data Product HeadOperations & Daily BusinessActs as receiving manager for all Ref Data Product processes outsourced and offshored to IndiaActs as liaison between Onshore Functional Manager and Vendor Managers to facilitate the efficient collaboration and streamline the communication between Onshore and VendorReviews any controls & governance reporting and meetings, and provides feedback to the VendorsMonitors agreed KPIs & KRI s as per the defined frequency and ensure execution of action plans to remediate performanceReviews incidents and ensures transparency on identifying control failures and remediation plan Where necessary leads thematic remediation plans and provide update to CS business / functional headsFacilitates escalation and resolution of production/ processing issues, IT or system failures impacting day to day operationsPartners with risk management function to assure operational risks mitigation and compliance with CS control frameworkAssures regular information flow on process performance and Vendor collaboration to Onshore Functional Heads & India Ops HeadMonitors Vendors compliance with CS Policies under affiliate requirementsOversees any audits conducted by CS internal/external audit teams and implement corrective actions against gaps identified during the auditEnsures BCP strategies are current, tested and evidenced as per the firms policyCoordinates the execution and testing of the BCP plans in collaboration with onshore functional managers and VendorsPeople LeadershipMotivates staff through effective supervision, coaching and providing a positive work environment and challenging objectivesDevelops employees through functional and soft skills training, coaching and mentoringOwns the mechanism to track training progress and knowledge retention both for Vendor and captive teamsBuilds and maintains relationships with Groups Ops and others stakeholdersManages effectively people with various backgrounds with a high level of cross-culture awarenessEfficiencyContributes to saving and efficiency departments targets through Kaizen, Operational Excellence and robotics initiativesChallenges status quo and encourage Vendor teams to identify process improvements/ best practices and facilitate implementation efc-ags1 You OfferAbility to work in virtual teams and international environmentStrong analytical skills, including thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into operational requirementsStrong MS Office / iGrafx skills would be an assetAbility to analyze and document complex business processesA client-focused attitude, efficient working style and excellent communication skills in order to interact with business partners and senior managementProactive approach and creative thinkingAbility to make effective decisions under pressureEffective time management able to work under pressure and meet project deadlinesKnowledge of banking and financial instruments would be an asset (knowledge of Reference Data environment would be an exceptional asset)Project management background would be an asset
