We are in search for a Sales Manager - Distribution for our consumer business unit and shall be based out of Ludhiana .The territory that shall be looked after shall be entire Punjab. Key Responsibilities of the positionDrive Sellout and Sell- through for all RD Partners , Ensure growth of Lenovo in terms of T3 reach,Ensure smooth running of daily operations of RD Accounts Meet and exceed sales target by volumes, revenue, region penetration, market share, profitability and growth.Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all companys products with specific focus on Premium mix.Maximizing Services sales through RD channel.Develop channel sales plans and strategies for building/maintaining a robust channel sales pipeline and moving key opportunities through the sales cycle.Maintains and expands customer base by training sales personnel; building and maintaining rapport with key distributors; identifying new customer opportunities.Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing sales information and recommendations to strategic plans Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.Train the channel partners on Lenovo products against the competition and ensure that they have adequate support.Reviews progress of sales for the territory. Ensure high level of channel partners and customer satisfaction.Key Performance IndicatorsPremium Mix and misc - Achieve xx% premium mix, xx Lac Rs in sales from accessories (S&P)Sellout Achieve xx% growth of sellout over previous year.Coverage Achieve xx% growth of number of counters over previous year.Sell through Achieve 100% target for sell thru for all RD partnersPosition Requirements Educational Qualifications Must Have Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, business administration or a related discipline Desired MBAWork Experience 7 + years of work experience in the distribution line of business in Consumer Key Functional / Technical Competencies Understanding & appreciation of retail biz and difference from distribution biz.Ability to multi-task, research and analyze different broker, distribution and retail situations Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with companyMust be willing to travel. Strong presentation, sales, negotiation and influencing skillsComputer experience (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet)Ker Behavioral Competencies Persuading and influencingInnovating and researchingAdapting and responding to changeAchieving personal work goals and objectivesLeading and initiating action.
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
