Job Description1. Responsible for obtaining profitable results through the sales team by developing the team through motivation, counseling, skills development and product knowledge development.2.Responsible for managing the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organizations presence.3.Driving the sales for exhibition space to corporate clients by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects & recommending solutions.4.Identifying business opportunities by identifying prospects, evaluating their position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options, negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales.5.Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance, maintaining professional and technical knowledge through various relevant resourceful mediums.6.Servicing and meeting clients at all times & during the event & post the event.7.Coordinating proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.8.Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.9.Holding regular sales & revenue meetings with entire team.10.Educating sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.11.Determination of the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project.12.Overseeing construction and dismantling and removal of the event and clearing the venue efficiently.13.Post-event evaluation.14.Providing follow-up with the clients to find out if the event was considered successful.Monitoring the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.15.Ensuring that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.16. Selling exhibition space to corporate clients by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions and delegate acquisition.17. Identifying business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options.18. Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements (via meetings, telephone, mail, etc...)19. Cold calling to arrange meetings, meeting potential clients for new business, provide quotations, negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales.20. Preparing and presenting sales reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information21. Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
