Job duties and responsibilities The role of the Regional Credit Manager (RCM) will requires a strong understanding of SME Businesses, Self-Employed Professionals (mostly Doctors & CAs) & Salaried Professionals, industry knowledge & market intelligence and underwriting processes at BFL to ensure that only credit worthy firms & Individuals are extended loans in line with BFL s risk policies. The incumbent will be responsible for underwriting loans in their specific regions, which will mostly be pre-qualified / pre-approved by the Risk team, and require quick processing TATs, in the following businesses 1. Relationship Management,2. Professionals Loans (Doctors and CAs), &3. Salaried Home LoansMonthly disbursements are expected to cross Rs.250 Cr in these businesses by September 2015. Thus each RCM and her / his team of Credit Managers is expected to process Rs.100 Cr of loan applications. This role reports to the National Credit Manager (hiring under progress), who will report to Chief Commercial Credit Officer, Diwakar Pundir. 1. The regional coverage is Bangalore, Chennai & Hyderabad1. Key Responsibilities 1. Underwriting of Loans to SMEs, Self Employed & Salaried Professionals.2. Leading a team of 5-7 Underwriters (ACMs / CMs) in to deliver turnaround time & quality benchmarks on service levels. The team will grow as the above mentioned businesses scale up.3. Drive ownership of internal processes & compliance with underwriting policiesSupport Business, Risk & Operations in meeting the long term goals of the respective businesses Basic qualifications Qualifications1. Chartered Accountant / MBA2. Maximum experience of 9 years in the financial services (lending) industry3. Minimum experience of 6 years in the financial services (lending) industry.4. Loan Underwriting (SMEs / High ticket unsecured / Mortgages) experience of minimum 4 years. Skills1. High process orientation2. Good analytical skills3. Positive attitude.4. Good communication skills, with proficiency in English.
Degree: CA (Chartered Accountant) | MBA/ PGDM
