The Regional Director, Revenue Management - India will be responsible in areas of Revenue & Yield policies, commercial support andimplementation. That includes developing a rational and disciplined decision making process for maximizing revenue & profit whilstminimising risk under current and anticipated market conditions. Develop effective operating procedures to enable the consistentdelivery of our brand promise. The role will also provide support & guidance to operations in order to drive maximum commercialperformance through coaching, training, effective use of information & systems, and support in making the right short, medium & longterm commercial decisions. Manage and execute the implementation of front office & rooms related sales, marketing and productstandards & technology in order to ensure effective adoption and benefit delivery.More specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standardsPlan effectively within the revenue function and integrates with Sales, Marketing and Ecommerce plans.Create annual plans for region initiatives and hotel activities to ensure aims and objectives are achieved and hotel schedules arerealistic.Direct the specialist team to identify opportunities and risks within specific markets and implement initiatives and strategies tomaximise revenue.Recommend, implement and monitor appropriate rate and availability activity responding to short, medium and long term businessneeds.Direct activities in the area of Revenue Management, Front Office Development, Business Analysis and Training and Development toensure activities contribute to the overall success of the region.Manage the budget allocated within company guidelines.Develop and maintain information systems to provide accurate, relevant and up to date information.Deliver effective business analysis and intelligence to the all stakeholders in order to develop understanding of business trendsand develop appropriate reactive and proactive initiatives.Provide the necessary forecast and demand information to sales, marketing and e-commerce/distribution to enable them to developprograms to deliver business to hotels in need periods.Implement systems and processes to monitor pricing policies and determine changes to drive performance.Develops implement and monitors the necessary business processes that deliver useful, accurate and relevant information foranalysis.Establish, enhances and maintains productive, quality working relationships with internal and external customers.Implements and monitors processes and systems to ensure that accurate customer information is collected, maintained and madeavailable in order to deliver outstanding customer service and develop relevant sales, marketing and distribution strategies.Liaises with area and regional colleagues, VP of Ops and General Managers to understand requirements and business needs from therevenue function.Attends and contributes to regional forums / meetings in order to deliver information, progress updates and participate in thedevelopment of future plans and strategies.Ensures hotels are kept up to date with systems changes and Developments Team.Effectivelymanages the team and provides training and coaching to current and new employees to improve performance and to meet the current andfuture needs of the business.Maintains the required people and performance management documentation in line wit company requirements.Identifies training needs within the regional and hotel teams and plans development programs to address them.Contribute to the design of training and development plans and programs which are based on a systematic identification of personaland business needs.Carry out specialist training as appropriate.Manage the implementation of new systems and processes into the business in the area of reservations, revenue management and frontoffice.Manage the implementation and training of systems and processes for new hotels in the region.Evaluate the impact training is having on the team's skills and business performance within the specialist regions identified.Carry out and contribute to projects in order to drive knowledge, capability and performance. Initiate and lead projects todrive revenue performance and ensure the revenue teams within the region are trained and developed to maximise revenues.Provide specialist support, advice and guidance for information systems in the overall sales function including initiating development and improvement of systems within revenue arena.What are we looking for?The Regional Director, Revenue Management - India serving Hilton Worldwide Brand hotels and vacations is always working on behalfof our Guests and working with other Team Members. Develop appropriate market commercialstrategies that impact hotel mix of sales to increase revenues and market share.Serve as the Revenue Management expert to regional and hotel leadership.Communicate industry business trends to all properties and make recommendations to maximize revenue opportunities at individualproperties.Provide pre-opening and conversion support to ensure effective pricing and revenue strategies are in place prior to hotel opening.Leverage current technologies with best practices to maximize total hotel revenue.Participate in hotel level recruitment and succession planning efforts.Lead an ongoing review process to help property teams identify trends and opportunities to maximize revenue for transient, group, andcatering segments.Build, grow and deliver competitive pricing structures.Conduct Market Pricing Analysis (MPA) to determine pricing and compression compared to competitive markets.Present ideas / facts clearly using appropriate interpersonal style.Consider feelings and needs of others in actions & decisions.Modify approach or style to achieve goals.Demonstrate leadership and effectively motivate the team.Support the team & help others when needed.Develop constructive relationships at all levels within the organisation.Maintain effectiveness in situations of disappointment or high pressure.Work with accuracy at an acceptable speed.Work methodically in a way others can understand.Take responsibility for achieving objectives.Communicate clearly both orally and in writing.Calm and assured, works well without supervision.Handle the variety and complexity of the job.Understand the global impact of local initiatives.Understand the key measures and drivers of the business.See issues in business and financial terms.Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.At least 2 years practical working experience within revenue management in a hotel/corporate environment.Strong experience or adaptable training in the use of automated systems, personal computers and software programs.Ability to multi-task.
