this job role has responsibility for providing assistance and support with the guidance, technical consultation and leadership to regional health benefit design teams to design IBM health and welfare benefits programs; addressing local health priorities, focusing on quality, meeting country legal and regulatory requirements globally.Job role requires an awareness of the insurance vendor marketplace, plan designs and health care cost factors, including experience and background in finance, data analysis and statistics. The scope of the role will vary by country depending on the in-country resources available.This role will also include supporting the development of health benefit strategy, policy, eligibility, vendor selection, pricing activities, annual HMO renewal, preparation for and attendance at executive meetings, working closely with and communicating new plans, plan design or policy changes to the appropriate country/region Benefits Operations and Delivery Teams. Job role requires writing and structuring internal communications, including proposals, reports and presentations, assist with communications and responding to employee/executive mail write-ins.Applicants must have excellent interpersonal skills, communications skills both verbal and written and leadership experience.Globally the role includes- Assisting with designing new benefit plans; initiating and project managing large redesign projects (in collaboration with local Compensation & Benefit (C&B) Design Team for implementation)- Supporting the development of policies related to health & welfare benefits- Engaging in, benchmarking, reviewing and supporting design changes, renewals or vendor changes to existing plans, developed by local C&B Design Team renewals or vendor changes developed by local C&B Team or local HR Team- Collecting and assisting with analyzing and interpreting health care data using utilization reports from vendors/carriers; assist in financial reviews and valuations of cost estimates- Assisting in benefit program needs as part of business development (acquisition and divestiture activity)- Communicating new plans, policies, as required to Integrated Services Team and HR leaders- Assisting with development of communications on new plans and policies- Supporting the Lead HR role on new plan or country vendor selection and approving renewals or vendor How well help you growParticipation / lead global projects, managing strategy & design for few countries and engaging in global strategy development with the team will enhance the experience to take higher responsibility and develop leadership skills.Good Understanding Of Health/Medical Insurance Benefits.Human Resources
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
