Responsible for the delivery of the human resources strategy across the Region and for supporting the line manager to deliver their targets, whilst ensuring adherence to policies and procedure.The person will be completely responsible for the people management, acting as an adviser and providing professional support for all HR & related activitiesPartner effectively with RH, BHs, RDP & BDPs to deliver end-to-end Human Resource services initiatives & engagement for the regionRole Details Talent AcquisitionEffectively partner with the central recruitment team to help in sourcing of local candidates & managing the process at the local levelEmployee Relations & EngagementWithin the Total Rewards guidelines, consults with line managers on various R&R programs for individuals and teams.Partner in driving employee engagement programs through proactive and structured interventionsHandle grievances & concerns in a sensitive manner with empathy & bring them to closureEscalate issues to proper authority as & when need arisesKeeps a proactive check on the general employee well-being & engagement levels; intervene actively when necessaryLearning & DevelopmentPartner with the BDPs & RDPs for training & developmentActively build a culture a learning by sharing of best practices, knowledge-sharing across branches, etcJointly responsible for on-boarding, initial coaching & mentoring of employeesPerformance ManagementPartner with the line managers to address performance gaps and facilitates discussions/ process to assess appropriate actionGuide Line Managers on all aspects of performance management including feedback and performance coachingProcess Improvement & Program EffectivenessPartner with the central HR Team for all processes like on-boarding, back-ground verification, payroll, leave & attendance regularization, exits, etcProvides input and feedback to the Central HR Team on gaps and opportunities for improvement in HR programs and policiesContributes to develop/ refine HR programs & processes through quality improvement interventionsOverall ExcellencePartners in sharing the HR trends & intelligence for alignment & review of HR prioritiesPartners in implementation of the Annual Performance Cycle by providing consultation on the process and program tool supportPartners for key HR projects with stakeholders in areas of Talent Development, Employee Engagement, Learning Culture, etcKnowledge, Skills & AttributesSignificant experienced and knowledge on local job market and the insurance/ retail industryAbility to manage diverse stake-holders Ability to coach and mentor sales employees, having a strong sales acumen himself/herselfStrong Business Communication skills with the ability to influence & convince stakeholders by objectively presenting & challenging viewsProficient in handling employee issues with sensitivity, objectivity & empathyProficient in data analytics, process orientations & exception handlingTeam Player with the ability to network & collaborate with diverse teams across locations
Degree: MBA/ PGDM
