Refine and deliver the Life Science & Applied Market go-to-customer plan, achieving all agreed market share, sales, and margin, order book and customer service targets within a defined cost framework. Develop, implement, oversee, coordinate and integrate all sales and support policies, programs and operations with the regions customer support and marketing teams. Increase business intimacy and knowledge in crucial areas across channels / value-add reseller, service and chemistries domain areas. Using market knowledge and insight, position Agilent solutions in the region with key customers, partners and industry leaders. Lead and drive the sales team / Channels across the territory to achieve targets and goals. Ensure team alignment with business unit goals and objectives. Train, educate, develop and performance manage sales, marketing and technical support team members to ensure all are engaged and aligned to deliver the units growth plan. Develop working relationships with Channel partner managers to set and review quarterly targets for orders, funnel, forecast, Agilent market share. Encourage and lead a culture of innovation across the team to ensure Agilent remains competitive in all aspects of the business. Implement Business processes and compliance in define territory for upmost alignment and discipline.NoteThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by incumbents. Domain experience will include the leadership of go to customer teams (sales, marketing and technical support), ideally selling high technology solutions (products, systems, consumables and services) to Applied markets .Knowledge of sales channel operations and business models. Able to build organization capability and lead teams to develop direct & indirect channel skillset, client acquisition and key account management competence.Demonstrated industry experience integrating the resources of several departments or functions. Proven track record of achieving results through team's performance. Able to manage a broad portfolio of products and services through direct and indirect (partner/ value add reseller) channels.Demonstrated strong leadership and people management within complex, multi-cultural business environment. Committed to team development with excellent communication skills.Understands clearly how to operate in large complex matrix organization to get results through positive engagement and internal partnerships.
